I mean, USUALLY, they never have to rebuild the Great Arena at all, merely the small platforms upon which the individual matches are SUPPOSED to be held. Excessively wide area-effect spells are generally avoided, since interfering with any of the other matches happening concurrently with yours is an automatic disqualification under Section 57c of tournament rules; even moderate property damage to your own match area is frowned upon, subject to beta-level fines.
Of course, all that went out the window the moment His Imperial Highness Solomon literally disassembled the entire arena himself, and utterly revoked the most fundamental basis of C.o.S. Tournament Rules with but two words: “Battle Royale”.
Good thing for those fighters, just falling into smoke might not kill them, just kick them off the competition… Or maybe actually desintegrate them, but its worth taking risk to avoid contact with Allicio’s fists
I’m hereby calling it. After a two movie build up, Allison / Allicio defeats Solomon / Bill in one very unsatisfying blow using the “Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique”……I mean “YISUN’s Open Palm”. The foreshadowing is totally in place.
On this Fool’s Journey, I have made a Virtue of Foolishness.
Rash Action, Impetuousness, Spontaneity.
Manifesting plans direct from the Void.
I’ve heard of Wisdom, but know it not.
Know me by my suit of motley.
With the first piece gifted into my brow,
the bounds of my ’normal life’ were broken.
So, first in halting steps,
then in ever increasing leaps,
I break through Restraints
till I stand in full panoply.
From Realms of Emptiness,
empty spirit, flimsy timorous body, absence of allies,
I’ve moved into realms of Fullness.
Staunch Companions, a Titan’s corpus, Incandescent Spirit.
By means of blows, and wounds,
by falling upon my face,
In my quests, in Throne’s School of Hard Knocks,
Every perilous contest reveals
This mantra be mine…
Fools that they are, they knew not the ancient power they tapped. Sailor Bkoom has been awakened and she will not be stopped until there is nothing before her but her end goal.
White Chain is imagining how she explains this to 2 Michael. The conversation is not going well.
M: Let me get this straight: you “protect” the key by giving it to a devil!?
WC: Only a half share and only a loan. We can get it back from her, Master.
M: And this is the same devil who stole a key before. And what pray did she do then?
WC: Umm … went crazy and trashed half of Throne?
M: And how did we get that key back?
WC: With help, we threw her down, arrested her, then gave her to her enemies who impaled her and put her to death.
M: Not a great incentive to cooperate. And then?
WC: She was resummoned and put under house arrest by her husband.
M: Yeeesss. How many years was it? Kept apart and powerless, forced to work as a clerk, with half the guildsmen in Throne showing up to mock her. So hungry for power that she invented a new, paper-based art to fill the gap. And finally?
WC: She … uhh … jumped out of Hell 71 into the holy water and swam to freedom.
M: ..which is *bad* for devils. I heard that it dissolved her carapace before she could get to land. Lust for power leads to true desperation. And you think this desperate, crazy, lustful person is going to just give us back the key? We can’t take it this time. Do you have a Demiurge lined up to help?
WC ….uh…well…perhaps…we can take it when she gets too hungry and weak to use it?
M: In which case you should have let her bring a packed lunch.
WC (huffily): Well maybe we’ll just appeal to her better nature … Master? Master!? Why are you rolling on the floor. Is that … laughter?
Lightning! Lasers! Breaking Stone, Waves of Shock! Debris! Rainbows! Death! Double Sets of Eyes! Heel! Aesma’s Heel! Solomon is Shaking in His Boots! Ahhh!

Hybrid flowers are often beautiful. A clever hybridization can oftentimes become the focal point of a vignette, catching the viewer’s eye and breath with a clever combination of its progenitor’s aspects. When a hybrid blooms for the first time, however, a careful gardener must ask themselves: how perilous this beauty? How hardy? Will it overtake the garden, poisoning the soil, choking life from all around it? Will it fade and fall away, sterile and without issue? Need it be torn out by the roots, or given a chance to flourish?
Or, should it prove hardy, what must be done to tend it lest it go wild?
Whoever told the arena needs to be rebuilt after each tournament – all true. Arena destruction time , yaaay ! Destruction !

I can see him destroying and rebuilding the arena every time just for a display of power.
Remember not to fall down, Allicio.
Seen this act back when I worked as as a sellsword for the old Dragon. The two schmucks that did it were pretty scary while they lasted.
Which was a total of about 20 minutes before the human one burned out.
Hey hey! I’ve got something to say! Better to burn out
THAN TO FADE AWAY

This is nice, you composed it yourself?
White Chain looks like she’s having a ‘Nam flashback.
First time I’ve seen a fight scene where someone goes too fast for their own good. . .
happened to another
kind of battle angel
long, long ago
I guess you could say that, but I think it’s more that the air was too slow.
I like how two of the warriors are like ‘OH SHI-!’ while big lizard guy looks unfazed.

This is what happens when you fuse Katt with Shin and Sana.
At the warriors in front of her got to die with a lovely sight in their eyes
Does tha wobblebrains kno why Cioabalchoath has chose to lose us skinny-armed hands a finger?
White Chain is about to give into her base angel impulse and start to… MEDDLE!
She might even start to lecture! It’s the law, you know.

Whoever the architects are, they better be paid well.
When treating with kings and demiurges, payment in advance is desirable.
I’m oh so happy that Allison gets to be Sailor Moon in this tournament arc. This is the best
White Chain is either bidding her time or admiring the fireworks. Either way shes at a safe distance

Your metaphor is also beautiful.
