Undertale ripped off the webcomic “Helvetica” & the original NES “Zelda” both just enough to be awesome but not enough to get sued, & I hate them for that.
…do you think defunct webcomic Helvetica was the first to coin “skeletons as characters” or “short/fat + tall/skinny comedy duo??” Or that Helvetica (a comic that was abandoned after only a few chapters) was popular enough that Undertale’s creator knew about it?
And original NES Zelda?? My guy, it was visually and thematically inspired by Earthbound, not Zelda. The original Kickstarter for the game directly stated as much.
I’m genuinely so confused by this take. You’re so confidently incorrect about a game you clearly have never played…
A white-haired woman wanting to “break the wheel”? I don’t like where this is going…
My money is still on White Chain. When they win, I will melt all the betting money I earn and inject it into my bloodstream. That way my blood pressure will be higher and I will be able to more effectively use my surprise attack: ejecting high-pressure molten gold from my wounds. I would join this competition, and win it, if I were not betting on it already.
Preem Draco, art thou sure thou art a former thief indeed? For thy first line stole my thoughts, ’tis was exactly what occured to me when I was reading.
Indeed I have left the thieving life behind. I only became a thief in the first place out of necessity, having lost my esteemed position at the Bank of the Grand Dragon. But through guile and lack of shame I have opened my own bank, and am comfortably upper middle class, and now own the very elevator I used to squat in.
Though I have molten gold blood and a heart not dissimilar to a jet turbine made of meta-materials, I do not have the power to read minds. If I did, I would be a great deal wealthier than I am.
I wonder how White Chain will handle being on the receiving end of such a serious truth bomb? They are more mature than Allison in some ways, so one would hope they would be capable of easier learning; yet we also see how set they are in their ways and thinking…
The size of her feet is no coincidence. During the time skip Allison learned the Secret Arts of Gains, and became an ardent student on the Path of Swole. While lesser practitioners merely increase the size of their muscles, those who know the secret ways can increase the size of their bones and appendages, in defiance of what lesser minds consider biologically possible.
Is White Chain going to be the first Angel to truly reach heaven rather than guard it’s perimeter?
Even Metatron is simply a mouthpiece for the Old God’s rules. He was close to God, but he was not close to being God. All he can do is twist his words and try his hardest to look through the cracks in his fallacies, and all he does is look.
Will White Chain directly return from the emptiness between the broken Law to subdue the evils in heaven? Is God going to get slapped to death?
“Of course, we only continue to call them heroes if they manage to live long enough to achieve their aim. If they die without succeeding, they are reclassified as ‘fools’.”
Just as Good is defined after the fact to be she who wins, Hero is defined (again, after the fact) to be she who survives long enough to affect change. This is a great truth of the multiverse, written widely by historians and students of politics (especially the ones who wish to not have their entrails slowly pulled out over a scorpion pit).
342 Annoying Voice Returns to Proclaim the Obvious
I have never met a human who was able to define good as anything other than a good for humans. The only differences lay in which humans that which they called good should serve. Evil, however, many humans know very well.
Sure, Nyave, and that’s all dandy… but Allison’s definitely ALSO a hot-headed, cocksure and not particularly calculating individual whose alternating self-loathing ‘I’m probably gonna die so let’s just charge in’ and hubristic ‘I’m mega-powerful so let’s just charge in’ have, thus far, caused plenty of issues they needn’t have. So, y’know, easy on the hagiography.

Oh, saints and stars.
A hero.
Heroes; what a mess they make.
As a Saru friend of mine has oft repeated about themselves and thus most of their compatriots.
KeeKee not smart. KeeKee Hero.
Mayhaps that is why with highest raw intelligence of the lot they kept that detail hidden from the rest.
O Lethe, enemy and lover, without whom my very existence would be pathetic and vulgar!
Our relationship is complex and perhaps eternal.
You. You got it. Thank you.

Was not expecting to see a reference to Marathon in my quirky online comic series.

Ruin is the road upon which Heroes walk.
Man, “cursed” doesn’t even begin to describe it.
Uncanny resemblance between Allison’s and her master’s profile
Ruin is part of all things. For things to be raised, some things must be leveled. A Hero understands this.
One might even say to raise, one must first raze
Wow, epic speech!
She avoids the path set before her by others, and carves out her own.
I am the seems that seems are seemed in seems it seems.
Oh, Page 888. Lucky. Gotcha!
And the rising king begins to come into her own…

Heroes are not born the are made sclupted like rock.
I overheard from a Phy wiser than I the time “Ah, a real human being. And a real Hero.” And they were correct.
This is the second time Nyave has called Allison a hero. Can you have a Greek Chorus of one?
So, is Nyave still suspect of being worms?
No?
Okay, great, we can move on.
Being worms? IDK, I don’t think so. Having worms, or otherwise being under Gog-Agog’s influence? Definitely.
Everyone is a suspect.
It’s worms all the way down.
Wait, that’s been suggested? I didn’t catch anything like that/
I KNEW SHE WAS THE HERO SINCE THE BEGINING! I FUCKEN KNEW IT!
I’m scared for her.
Heroes Die.
everyone dies eventually, and when death comes it’s okay
Everyone comes to me in the end, but heroes taste the sweetest, and come with plenty of chasers.
Allison got feets. I mean BIG feets! Plus shoulders like a linebacker.
And all this talk about the Wheel of Suffering. When did Nyave meet my mother?

Well, everyone is YISUN in purgatory,
so yes.
Very yes.
Riders on the wheel go round
Stretched to stars, their limbs are bound
They see the world across the ground
Reminds me of Edelgard.
The cre-
Keys are to blame.

You remember our old house
