Solomon David is going out meteor style! He’ll be totally consumed and will perish in the effort; an ultimate burn-out.
But will it be enough to defeat Jagganoth? I wouldn’t bet on it. It’s gotta at least knock him for a loop. I mean, we’re talking “going nuclear” level Ki Rata here. Dave might have enough mojo to take Jaggy down with him. My guess is that’s his goal – turn himself into an avenging flame and burn down his enemy, though it cost him his life.
Sad to see the comments section go, if what has been said is true, and there’s no reason to believe it false. I’ve seen comment sections really go sour, but this hasn’t, as most people focus on the comic & avoid pissing matches with each other (at least in my experience).
Still, I understand pulling the pin before anything goes sideways. And having one less thing to worry about, as one works on a masterpiece.
And if this be my last comment, or at least among the last, let me say what an awesomely impressive work of art you have created, Sir Abbadon. One that sets the gold standard for the genre. It was a great day when I came across it.

Solomon David has his faults. But his consistent choice to rise up against Jagganoth when all hope seems lost, even at his lowest point, is incredibly touching and incredibly cool.

Well, looks like the fight’s going over to Throne.
I wonder if Inky and Jadis will care to follow?
Now that Alison isn’t on the same plane of existence as Jaggs, she can hopefully start using her power a little bit to get everybody back together. And figure out a solution to this mess.
It’ll be ironic if Solly actually manages to lock away Jaggy forever beneath Throne, dies… leaving a big old power vacuum for Inky Jadis Gogs and Alison, since three damiurges are dead and one effectively dead.
This all feels like killing time, as we know that The Hog Holder has vanquished infinite permutations of the Demiurges.
Solomon absolutely vaporized that crowd around him, huh.
