Welp (scratches the “2” from 82 White Chain Born in Emptiness Returns to Subdue Evil and writes “3”) good thing angels come with their own death counter.
Flapping? Flapping? Never!
Rock hard, tumescent and erect, spurting firey ejaculate in an orgasm of universal obliteration!
I don’t wish to knock Abbadon’s fine work here but I must admit to a little disappointment with his inability to depict proper nudity and genitalia while having no problems with showing acts of incredible violence and destruction. I strongly suspect he originates from a very warped, unhealthy and unstable society, poor thing.
HM. Even if it’s only Mammon, I think Jagganoth obtaining his portion of Keys will make even the resistance given so far utterly impossible. Jagganoth did this with the same level of granted power as the rest.
Unrelated, but does anyone else get the impression that this is a realistic depiction of when the JRPG final boss uses that one attack which reduces the party’s HP to 1?
I wonder if White Chain was simply banished–maybe because pain in a fleshy body is something she has no experience with yet, and is unusually shocking and caused her to exit her body–or if she’s 83 White Chain now.
I admit, in the case of the latter, I’d REALLY love to watch Allison forcibly reincarnate an angel and/or pull memories of its past life (lives) into the now. (Such a skill might even be necessary to have, because I think Metatron is half-dead, half-reincarnated and needs some help.)
Delicious way back when seemed to imply angels that reincarnate will simply change again, and killing her won’t stop what she is, she’ll simply change again. Presumably it would be similar with White Chain.
I propose they go take a trip to go find White Chain, and maybe resurrect Delicious while they’re at it.
…you know, after they run away from Jag and Grandpa Dragon’s head.
Oh, another thought: Maybe White Chain tanked that blow, and that’s why she’s (temporarily, I presume) gone. It would make sense for an immortal angel to decide to try to block most of the damage from the blow, given neither Allison nor Cio are immortal, and White Chain is.
Technically Cio is immortal insofar as the hot black flame of chaos is immortal. As long as a devils mask can be rebuilt, they can be resummoned apparently.
I was half expecting this page to end with papa dragons corpse crashing down into the city ruins, to further punctuate the scale of destruction and horror.
MY EXPECTATIONS HAVE BEEN EXCEEDED
People keep making comments to the effect of “1 Demiurge down, 6 to go”. But does not one else think that Mammon was just the only demiurge big enough to leave a corpse behind?
Yeah I think the next phase of the fight will be: Jag isn’t invulnerable thanks to the massive cubit spear. Mottom, Inky, and Dragon are dead, their keys are up for grabs. Cue a fighting scramble to seize them.
Actually the opposite interpretation would be more natural from that picture. The dragon was far the biggest of them, so he had the least chance to avoid the cuts. In fact the part that is visible here (head and some neck) in itself bigger than any of the others in full body and it was apparently not cut into pieces. So unless the attack was much more targeted than it looked like, there is a pretty good chance some others are alive too.
Eh, that’s possible I suppose. But I don’t think Jag was just swinging wildly- if he aims for a demiurge and HITS a demiurge (that isn’t Mammon-sized), it seems like it would obliterate them utterly.
Ah, I WAS wondering why Allison was not immediately getting hit with a plunging attack. Jagganoth needed to secure a proper weapon first.
(banging fork and knife on table, overturning sippy cup in excitement) SWORD SWORD SWORD SWORD SWORD
John Sword is observant.
“Do not fear death.
Fear the killer.”
Yeah; Cio pulled your butt outta the drink and you ask here where the OTHER person is?
She’s got all the right to be upset with Allison at this point; but I’m sure whatever problems they’ll have will end sooner or later. lol
Okay, but Allison knows where Cio is. And can hazily see how badly injured Cio is.
But where is White Chain?
Welp (scratches the “2” from 82 White Chain Born in Emptiness Returns to Subdue Evil and writes “3”) good thing angels come with their own death counter.
P L E A S E tell me white chain is all right
She is immortal, so probably (might need a resurect tho)
Ohh shiiiiiiiit.
Jag about to slam that 30 trillion dollar dragon into a five dollar toilet.
Imagine how much more intimidating it would be if his colossal jaggahog was FLAPPIN’ on the way down?
PITY THE JAGGAHOG…
…’cause he’s a eunuch!
Flapping? Flapping? Never!

Nnnnnnnnooooooo not grandpa Dragon.
Huh. Alice looks good in bangs.

If Maya were going to make a dramatic last minute appearance, now would probably be the time to do so.
Unrelated, but does anyone else get the impression that this is a realistic depiction of when the JRPG final boss uses that one attack which reduces the party’s HP to 1?
In the sense that another playthrough imminently looms beyond the reset point, perhaps.
It seems the time has come once again to contemplate the infinite for an aeon or so. Pity.

Yes, but that is a much more complicated process, they cant really try to pull it off while in combat lol
STILL NO JAGGAHOG

I guess it’s time for Mammon to quit while he’s a head.
HA!
The passing of the senile lizard may have been tragic if it hadn’t been for the mountains of corpses underneath his piles of gold.
Something even worse than what everyone here is immediately thinking of:
*Jagganoth now has Mammon’s Keys*
At the very least…
Triple dang!
Ken Doll
Not grandpa!
I think someone getting a little ahead of himself.
I’ll see myself out…
*HONK*
I really hope White Chain isn’t actually dead.
Oh dear
So who inherits his title of the weakest demiurge? Mottom?

Might not be too far off! It looks like Jag had a scar from the seal, but I don’t see any signs of angel nails on his naked hide.
