The funny thing about traumatic injury is, it doesn’t hurt at the time. The pain threshold is exceeded by such a large margin that the brain refuses to let the mind feel any pain at all.
It’ll hurt later, once Allison comes down from her adrenaline high. But right now, it’s entirely painless.
Something tells me this chapter’s just getting started. There’s a lot more right arm missing in this scene than on the first page, but Allison’s definitely ready for the new look.
That quickly went from playing the main theme song too Jagganoth’s theme real fast.
On a side note: where did everyone else go? I sure don’t see any dragon shaped falling objects. Then again, I also don’t see any fully Allison shaped falling objects either.
The panel composition kinda looks strange, from start we see that Allison lost her eye by the side blindness, but then she makes strange gesture with her right hand and it looks like it is thorn away by some force or she torn it away herself and thrown it at Jag as some last desperate moment, cause that doesn’t look like a cut from Jag sword at all in such composition. Also if this is Allisson fate while she was basically the strongest with angelic and devil skins on combo I wonder what fate awaits other demiurges there, if the first page of chapter is a proper spoiler for the future they are all alright including Jag only missing WT and Cio sadly.
Imagine you just unleashed your strongest attack that decimates the entire realm and one of your mortal opponents BEANS YOU with their MORTAL NOODLE ARM
One moment of discord, one instant of flaring up emotions is all it took to turn hope for the impossible into a disaster.
If only the demiurges could get their shit together without acting like immortal children.
Men and horses will be split merely in _two_? When there is no place that is not a sword? They should be cut down to elementary particles, or separate cells at least.
However, that is incredibly badass. Allison has finally come through her own Eclipse (OH SHITE WE THAT’S WHY WE HAD GOG AGOG MIURA TRIBUTE SEVERAL PAGES AGO) and is about to go completely BERSERK, apparently.
Also, it is the first time I remember the author puts such a warning of spoilers. Since he didn’t bother with that for all the previous revelations of the fifth book…
The art of hyperbole is being employed, I do believe. To the onlooking, innocent bystander, it would look like everything was being cut at once.
It’s the same as when someone who survives a house fire reports “It was crazy, there was fire EVERYWHERE”. Obviously, the fire wasn’t everywhere, burning every atom instantaneously. But it seemed that way to the biased, excited eyes of the beholder.

Nevertheless, permit me to reply. A sword is not atomic, it is composed of other parts. Clearly, a sword cannot hit the parts it is composed of. Even if we ignore that most swords require a swing, if there is no space that is not a sword, there is nothing left to be cut. (We can disregard the option of multiple swords hitting each-other. Jagganoth wields multiple blades, yet he IS a sword. All his components are a single blade as well, striking at the entire world. Furthermore, the victims would notice if they become part of Jagganoth’s sword, and this would lead to a very different description, wordplay or not) Observing the devastation produced by this technique, the latter is clearly false. Hence, by reductio ad absurdum, there must be spaces that are not sword and destroyed by the swords.
Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that there is no space that will not be swinged at with swords, within a very short moment of time. Furthermore, the swords are likely moved such that they cannot be avoided by those who traverse space-time by ordinary means. Maybe that is the only weakness of this technique.
It’s so many swords, look, there’s so many of them. Wowee zippy wow, that’s a ding-dang lot of swords. TOO many, I think, I think that a smaller number of swords than the swords that there are would be fine. It’s ok to have fewer swords than this I think, a smaller amount of swords is easier to count and you can look at them all with less difficulty. Geez that’s a lot of them, the swords
I think Cio and Chain may have a chance. They were part of a composite being when the blades hit. The descriptive text says that all were slain. Aspected Chaos was the one that was slain, but it constituent entities may yet breath, despite being horribly maimed.
The demiurges, however, have probably been cut asunder.
I think that we will see another turning of the wheel, but Zoss will allow Allison to retain her memories. The cost of retaining them will be that she has to wear the scars of the last cycle as a reminder of her shortcomings. This will lead her to either: A)Become the final, wheelbreaking heir or; B) Fall to evil and become even worse than Jagganoth.
So, after all the training, pain, friendship, love, betrayal, redeeming, cleancing, unation with comrades into mighty being andrainbow glowing around your words you think you are tough enough to face the Cycle Ender? Let’s see. Dices says, you are tough, so you are alive, but not enough, so you are barely alive.
That’s far too many swords. That’s too many swords! Too many of them, swords that is. I think that’s enough, that’s enough swords for one day. You gotta calm down with the swords because that’s so many of them, swords. Wow, look at them all! It’s so many! It’s so many swords, TOO many in fact. Jeezly crow, that’s a lotta swords.
As is to be expected of the bearer of name ‘Blade’, his cuts are terrible to behold. But what of the other master of the art of cutting? For she bears an even greater name:’ Murder the Gods and Topple Their Thrones’.
And so, she finally loses that eye.
“Head of John ain’t shit.”
-Jagganoth
OMZ i hope Incubus survives as only a head, and someone will put him on their belt, like mimir in god of war
Doesn’t look more painful than the vines situation, to be honest.
The funny thing about traumatic injury is, it doesn’t hurt at the time. The pain threshold is exceeded by such a large margin that the brain refuses to let the mind feel any pain at all.
It’ll hurt later, once Allison comes down from her adrenaline high. But right now, it’s entirely painless.
truly, the shock won’t fade for some time, ‘specially after she hits that them WATER, I’m sure…
So this is what they mean by: “Death by a thousand cuts!”
Something tells me this chapter’s just getting started. There’s a lot more right arm missing in this scene than on the first page, but Allison’s definitely ready for the new look.
Just you wait until Book 5 Chapter 5 Act 5 Intermission 5 Act 5 Page 5
Welp, now we know how Allison loses her arm and eye.
Hm, how boring to succumb to her fate thus.
HE TOOK HER NIPPLES TOO
ABSOLUTE PRECISE CUTS
A NEW UNIVERSE WITHOUT AREOLAS
That quickly went from playing the main theme song too Jagganoth’s theme real fast.
On a side note: where did everyone else go? I sure don’t see any dragon shaped falling objects. Then again, I also don’t see any fully Allison shaped falling objects either.
That’s a good point. What IS the main theme song of this?
In reply to the side note:
Well, if they were in the wrong place, none of the others would have really-defined shapes, would they?
So, the power of friendship was not enough to overcome raw might and hatred. To be honest, I was sorta hoping for this outcome

*Grows 79 998 extra arms*
*Cuts one of yours*
Jagganoth is such a jerk.
“all will be cut”
Does this inclued a certain block of indestructible glass?
SHE IS FREE FROM HER PRISON!

…
…well NOW I’m pretty much scared.
A magnificent feeling.

If I am neither horse nor male, will I be spared?
This is what being non-binary is truly about, baybeeeee
0/10 sexist swords only cut men and horses.
…
That kinda sounds like an angel name.
Allison only survived because she was combined into Aspected Chaos. Jagganoth cut that being apart.
There is no defeat.
You’re either dead, or winning.
Would it be rude to point out that he missed a spot?
“You’re right, let me just apply another 80,000 cuts to rectify that real quick”
Well overall today’s been a bit of a bummer, hasn’t it?
80,000 blows at once. Fairly big blows, at that. One may wonder how many demons a single blow could kill.

Crap, I keep replying to the wrong comments. Please disregard!

“Instantly” he said.
“False advertising” I said.

It takes a lot to break a realm. Especially when it cuts through gods! Too many swords!! Too many swords!…

The end! I hope you’ve enjoyed Kill Six Billion Demons! Goodbye to everyone forever!
