Technically they’d still be missing the “effervescent heat of the Flame Immortal” which makes up the souls of animals. Buf I’m not sure there’s a solution to that one. Also it seems a tad late to introduce a fourth girlfriend, given it’s the last book and all.
GUYS!!! I just figured it out! Ok, people have been saying that the black and white flame mentioned in the prophecy is a red herring, and that actually refers to Princess and Vigilant gaze. Ok, the description for this panel merely says: âProtagonistâ (the main character) so this seems to mean to me that the âKill Six Billion Demonsâ mentioned in the prophecy is the triple fusion!
Interesting, but iirc, the images projected by Jadis while she reveals the prophecy clearly depict White Chain and Cio. And Jadis can never be wrong. I think. But who knows.
I wonder if White Chain will retain her semi-human body shape when the fusion eventually separates? Also, if the fusion loses an arm, whose arm disappears (same for an eye)? So many mysteries!
42 Fragments the Universe Beyond All Reintegration
I wonder if they come out of the fusion with 6 arms between them, but not evenly distributed. “I teleported home one night with Ron and Claire and Meg / Claire stole Ronnie’s heart away and I got Megan’s leg.”
WOW. Well, this would appear to be my just comeuppance for silently laughing at all those people in earlier comments sections who were predicting that White Chain & Cio & Allison would all fuse together at some point! You were right, I was wrong, guys. I hope you’re happy…because I certainly am. Seriously, this is insane, but I am 100% on board with it.
Angelic and Demonic essences are diametrically opposed (even if both White-Chain and Clio are a little less than the purest example of their kind) and I assume that Allison, with her human adaptability is the bridge between them. But even just Allison and Clio were barely able to keep it up for the length of a single fight. I would imagine that being the mediator, in effect, between two such differing entities would take a serious toll on Allison’s psyche.
On her own surely still just an angelic cold white flame (though probably a little less harsh), but one who now wears a flesh vessel that they’ve created, in a form pleasing to them ie female human, rather than needing a stone one made.
Abbadon mentioned her being 18′ 8″ tall on his twitter. Which is interesting, as it’s still much smaller than Jagganoth. She can’t just sit on him until he calms down and cooperates.
To paraphrase another webcomic from long ago: “Her bigness is perfection.”
Unrelated, but while I know it’s not going to happen, I sort of want Aspect Chaos here to turn to the demiurges and be like… “Anybody else want in?”, if only to see how much more complex we could take the character design.
Goggy isn’t a Servant, she’s a Beast(s). At least originally her Soul(s) were made of the Effervescent Heat of the Flame Immortal, like all animals that don’t count as Men. Not really sure what her soul(s) is now, though.
I wonder if Eusocial bug colonies have one soul between them, or one soul per “individual”. Would also like to know what the Soul of a Chimpanzee is, if evolution exists in this setting, and what, exactly, is the definition of a “Man”. Also if very simple animals that lack much of a nervous system have souls, and if they do, if sponges, which lack nerve cells entirely, have souls.
Aesma may’ve had longer at the hearth than us know, made all homnids mebbe, last attempt bein humans. Bothersome fer volution t’exist here, leastwise as we knows it. An’ dun’t think souls be requirin nervous systems, de’ils suresome not got none. Us likes t’think Volvox have un soul, also fae fizzy flame heat, same as Goggy.
Aw did she stop having a tail? đ
Also, the Servants really got screwed over with their lack of representation.
Now they just need a Servant and they’ll have a full set.

Sure there is, Gog-Agog is just over there.
So I heard you like fusions…
“Your struggle must be a terrible fire which only grows as you pass it on to others.”
“Strength beyond Strength.”
“Remember this and awaken to your fate.”
There we go. Not like it wasn’t obvious.
I guess what I’m trying to say is…if you just do it, things will turn out okay!
The finest example of individuation. The full integration of the shadow and the animus/anima with the Persona
bigger than before

Every level up is harder to draw than the one before. At some point, the drawing difficulty turns into an artistic black hole and implodes the comic.

And so the Fool journeys through the araĂąe, eventually defeating Death and claiming the World.
Never thought The Fool as aspected chaos. Makes sense, now.
Also, I’m squeeing over that design!
The Fool ; the 0th arcana. 0 Aspected Chaos.
The 0th, and the 22nd.
Key Zero, which fits no door yet unlocks them all.

Your last sentence perfectly sums up the entirety of KBSD.
My question is, how long can it be maintained?

Well-reasoned, but White Chain is a human/angel hybrid on her own now, so…
On her own surely still just an angelic cold white flame (though probably a little less harsh), but one who now wears a flesh vessel that they’ve created, in a form pleasing to them ie female human, rather than needing a stone one made.
The reason Allicio unfused was because White Chain broke their sternum, though, right?
So this is what Homeworld thinks of fusion.
An angelic and demonic form combined, with the human as the stability…
Perfect indeed.
Umm, you may want to rethink that, given what humans are on record as doing.
I only just noticed that she’s not floating in the air. She’s standing on the ground. It isn’t forced perspective, she actually is that big.
Abbadon mentioned her being 18′ 8″ tall on his twitter. Which is interesting, as it’s still much smaller than Jagganoth. She can’t just sit on him until he calms down and cooperates.
Jaggy’s ridiculous. That’s an impractical amount of beef.
An Impractical Amount of Beef is my favorite Culture GSV.

+1
They lack the Cool White flame of Servants; our options are walking tragedy and old capitalist lizard.
Hm.
