It’s a rule of fusion, either the outfits fuse as well or the outfits disappear and you get special fusion clothes that show off a lot of skin. It’s a feature, not a fault.
Did you miss their first transformation at the ring of power?
Cio’s clothes, old-style, first fusion: left in a pile where her old body dissipated. New-style, current fusion: either left on the floor again, or dissipated (they’re conjured clothes, this time).
More importantly, what happened to Cio’s gear after the first fusion? The weapons, all the unexploded spells? The Book?

Indeed. Panel 3 is particular fine. Animated Cio pulling faces is fun, but calm, open and vulnerable Cio is a rare treat. She has the opposite of resting bitch-face.
Allicio: the only Fusion gayer than anything Steven Universe could produce.
Really? In my view it’s straighter than all of SU combined. Mostly because they’re different species, and also technically doing it for power, not because of the power of friendship/love/romance?
You could argue in SU it’s a feature of their crystal matrices, that just so happens to have a gay analogy (even though they’re monogender and don’t reproduce, they’re created) and in this… It’s an unintended side effect of the nature of an abyssal and a midgardian?
Oh yeah, remember that time steven fused with his dad? God i wish I hadn’t.
Okay, so in both cases, with this and steven universe. The transformations are a representation of a close relationship. So like you said, friendship/romance/love. It’s not necessarily gay for Cio and Allison to fuse (though it’s heavily implied).
I feel like the whole point of their fusion is that it only works because they love one another, either as friends or romantically, which allows them to create the stable fusion. If I remember correctly it was mentioned the first time they fused, that it’s been done before but always ends in an explosion, because the fusions before always just wanted power.
It may be straighter than steven universe, given just how gay that show is, but it still seems pretty gay over all IMO. (the rainbows every time they transform, and them kissing, and having sex might be a hint)

Don’t even joke, this comic is better written and more interesting than what SNK turned into recently.
I would disagree with that, but to each their own I suppose.
The absurdists believe that we achieve the greatest state of freedom when we accept the meaninglessness of the universe yet strive for meaning despite it being futile.
Fighting a god who can’t be harmed seems like a truly absurd gesture.

If the meaning of the universe is that it is meaningless, then surely making meaning out of a meaningless universe is the meaning to it all anyway.
Both assuming meaning and assuming no meaning have an accepted dichotomy, what if it’s more complex, like there used to be no meaning, but along the way the meaning became life, and now, meaning already exists/existed, so my meaning is to keep existing?
I didn’t get to choose to exist, or to mean, but now nobody can stop me, not even the alleged meaninglessness of everything. Gonna live forever.
