Note that among Jadis’ occult drawings there is a design fairly sinilar (though different) to the eye symbols hovering about Jagganoth several pages ago, when he was performing Blood-Draining Sword Soul. Knowing Abbadon, probably no coincidence, and there is a common source for both tecniques.
Prediction: this book is not primarily about Jagganoth and defeating him is a warmup exercise. Though even if true, someone besides Jagger might still end up dead, like Inky at the broken sword of Maya.

If Mottom and friends actually beat Jagganoth, and then Alison and co had the more difficult social task of like… convincing them to stop being idiots.
This is the most interesting thing about this fight to me. It doesn’t matter which side out-violences the other, in the victor’s hands the universe is doomed, to either instant annihilation or a stagnant oblivion. If Allison can save it from them, she’ll have to do it outside of combat entirely. Strength beyond strength indeed.
I’m guessing that Allison (possibly with help from the gang) has to step in to deliver the final blow against Jagger, saving the demis from destruction. That would make them a team with her as the leader, all set to take on Metatron or whoever is behind him.
Turns out Nadia is very good at delegating, organizing and using everyone’s strength while acting like a support caster.
Mamnon is very good at basically being a mobile fortress with good long distance strikes.
Jadis is the best spellcaster.
Solomon tanks and incapacitates the enemy.
I’m expecting Incubus to reveal that he can inflict the most damage if he gets a clear shot.
And we’re still waiting for Gog-Agog to do something.
