I believe there is a specific world with a legendary hero known for delivering a devastating signature blow, a strike so potent that it was named after the warrior himself. Referencing that man, a captain by rank, seems appropriate in this situation.
Does everybody else see the self-repairing property of Jagganoth’s helmet? in the first panel it’s almost completely melted with one horn bent. In the second and third panels the horn has fixed itself and the tusks begin to form yet the left eye socket is still molten over. In the fourth panel the tusks and teeth are fully formed and breathing atum and the left eye is restored.
Marvelous. Perhaps the power of the demiurge seeps through it.
I’m not seeing what you’re seeing. Unless the image has been edited, I see the mask intact under a mass of molten gold that clears away as Jaggy charges.
No more King Solomon’s mine, more like with all that metal coming off the helm it’s now one of King Solomon’s Mines!
Unless Sedivak is right about the self-repairing properties.
Jag is always surprising us with new swords from his hobby collection. This one is called the “Urumi” or sometimes just whip-sword originating from the ancient Kalaripayattu martial art
Anyone else wanna see those helmet horns dig into the dirt and make J flip AOT?
I wonder if Jaggy’s own body is sufficient to get around the whole unkillable thing….if he broke his own neck beefing it after this punch to the dome….would that kill him?

It was about time the big guy takes some battle damage. Knocking off his helmet and almost shattering is a good start.

I hadn’t noticed that, but good catch! That sort of thing would match Solomon’s robes somehow surviving all this, too.

Solomon practices the most deadly form of rhythm gymnastics known to the multiverse.
I know, the purple ribbon thing right? And such a daring outfit on the team captain from Rayuba!

See also Deadpool. 100% unkillable, but bits take time to heal and grow back. It might be a way to disable Jagganoth for a time.
One is reminded of a bit of artwork in Powers, a fight between two ape-men drawi in a never-ending spiral of ever-smaller panels, ad infinitum, amen.
I think we should all take a step back and admire the durability of that helmet. That’s a really good helmet.
