The descriptions of past cycles say that *The Heir* kills ever demiurge before facing Jagganoth. Somthing about this cycle is **WRONG**, and apparently Metatron has arrived to intervene
I mean in every other cycle Allison is just the Damsel in distress, she has NO agency in it
what I mean of course is that the very foundations of this cycle is an aberration which may collapse the wheel itself
Well, when you reset this much things start to happen: improbable, weird things. Enough tries will produce every result even barely possible.
How unlikely is it that even the first demiurge survives meeting the heir. How many untold cycles begin with Mottom thrown into her husband. A key claimed; a war begun; a fate sealed. The dragon (a mercy killing), then an angel overcomes Solomon with Mammon’s key.
There were so many ways for this to end violently, and so few paths to peace.

Metatron 1 gave Zoss his power and key, and Jagganoth his nails of invincibility. This is not a reincarnation as his number is still 1. Will Jagganoth join with Alison to fight this being? Will Maya fail to die? Will Incubus flip sides or just loose his head?
All this waits a word from Metatron 1.

In all fairness Gog said she was the strongest DEMIURGE not the strongest period. If she truly were the strongest she would have killed the scribe of god broke the cycle and taken the throne. I wonder if Mets is here because he has a grudge against Gog for failing or if he’s just pissed about Zaid.
I would think the scribe of god wouldn’t be narrow minded enough to think the gender of the heir was set in stone but set in stone is the fundamental nature of his being. Like Jagganoth he is too narrow minded to realize that his ignorance has made him a slave to the wheel like all others.

What if Jagganoth ISN’T cut by the Maybe Sword, in the instant of its collision he is forced to realise that he does infact have the ability to choose his own fate.
Then we see him either double down on what he’s doing regardless or some other divergence from his current course, what that could be I do not know.
