“A fool is only as strong as the divisibility, and strength of their ambition.
Power is hard and brittle by itself; purity gets you nowhere.
A sword needs variety, in order to bend instead of break.
This is how you find God’s love, and all the force of Heaven.”
I drink to the ruined house,
To the evil of my life,
To our shared loneliness
And I drink to you
To the lie of lips that betrayed me,
To the deadly coldness of the eyes,
To the fact that the world is cruel and depraved,
To the fact that God did not save.
The art in this comic puts pretty much everything else to shame. It’s incredible and I’m happy to be here for it. It’s audible. You replay it in your head for ages after you read it. It complements the writing such that you think about it between releases, and I can’t remember the last time a serial work did that.
I’m pretty sure the last panel is the Agony Cannon on Incubus’s flagship firing, when it went off the first time it had the same white cross pattern. Allison also had a similar pattern coming from her foot when she drop kicked a god ship in half, so it could also be that.
It’s Funnier That Way, and a powerflex of her precision and control. Sure, she could just be indiscriminate, but it’s Showing Off to leave surviving Republic forces unharmed in the cascade of Worm Spikes
She’s having fun.
How many minutes do you think have passed now?
Based entirely on vibes, I think the amount of time that’s passed so far is maybe 15 to 30 seconds.
Giant worm heads sing the Hallelujah Chorus verrrrrrrry slowwwwwwwly
The Conquering King composing Hallelujah
Battle? What battle?

Because then the Republican forces would’ve gotten in the way. Demiurges don’t much care about collateral damage.
Because it wasnt funny right away, geez!

Gog forbid a girl have a little fun.
And so the multiversal army gets bested by a worm.
WHAT’S THAT LIGHT?!
Gog’s going to hit their time limit the instant Jagganoth breaks free, aren’t they?
White Chain: “Are we the baddies?”
Doers she wake up now and her sorority sisters tell her she got ahold of some bad hash?
Waitaminit, what’s with all the modern office buildings and street lights? Did I miss something recently?
They’re still fighting in the same setting, Throne has modern-looking office buildings and streetlights in parts.
Allison picked the right time to use a board wipe, just after her side took heavy losses and the enemy deployed a bunch of new forces.
*Honks eldritchly*
Complete global saturation!
I thought she’d waited to sic Gog on the enemy because of friendly-fire Cronenberging, but I guess that wasn’t an issue after all.

Calling this a web-comic seems like an insult, even though I know it’s not.
I’ve added “web serial” to my vocabulary. It also covers video and text forms of episodic media.
The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out
They’ll eat you up, without a doubt
And when your flesh is lost to rot
The worms remain, but you do not
*Megalovania plays*
Wait. Is it selectively attacking in panels 2 and 3?
Walk without rhythm and you won’t attract the worm
I’m surprised Gog has the restrain to avoid worming her allies. Or rather, Allison’s allies.
The Conqueror Worm has no need of allies, after all.
It’s Funnier That Way, and a powerflex of her precision and control. Sure, she could just be indiscriminate, but it’s Showing Off to leave surviving Republic forces unharmed in the cascade of Worm Spikes
Also, Allison would probably bitchslap her.
