If I remember their last conversation, Gog was very reluctant to help, finally offering Allison only a few minutes of assistance. Now it looks like Allison is the only thing holding back Gog from going thermonuclear. What changed?

I think the story at this point is just flowing from one set piece to the next, depending on what Abbadon wants to draw most. It hasn’t made sense in a long time.

Because all seven are and were arrogant and vain, and Gog ever only presented herself as a peer, powerwise. From the way she appeared and acted Gog was and is ridiculous, while all the other six fancied themselves ultimate lords and ladies, acting with and demanding dignity. Until Jaggy did this whole “iron angel feather nails of invulnerability” thing they assumed theat one on one they each were about evenly matched.So they bullied the one that acted out, knowing that first there would be no big retaliation, and even if they could handle the clown.
Gog *allowed* them to mock her. Now, why she did so, when all she wanted was respect and camarederie… she just quirky like that.
