Seeker of Thrones 11-153
Chapter: 11
That’s it for book 3! This was a long one (about 20-something pages longer than book 2, not to mention the 3 1/2 weeks it took to do the Siege of Yre spread and the delays from traveling this year and last). Thanks very much for sticking with this story arc over the last year and a bit. I’d recommend going back to read book 3 as a big chunk so you get the whole thing in one place, it will be a lot more thematically coherent and some of the pacing will make more sense.
On to book 4 next week: King of Swords
This is the first book to finish since I started reading and I’m in a constant state of being blown away by your artwork and storytelling.
There’s more of those terrifyingly large birds I mentioned on p151.
On the left, midway up the page. Perching on a building. They’ve got to be 8ft tall at least.
One of those birds demands your sandwich, you better give it to them.
This is what my ears taste, when my eyes smell that last vue. Abbadon, c’est magnifique:’)

God damn that was a fun ride. Definitely read it all in one chunk, it really keeps the story moving if you do that, and you appreciate everything a bit more.
I’m REALLY looking forward what is coming next !
Every book is getting better! And I’m assuming we’re just at the beginning of the story. Man, this is awesome.
Can’t wait for the printed book to order it.
What timing! I closed the last page by accident and when I opened it back up there was another waiting for me! Man, these last few pages made me wish I was a lesbian, lol.
it’s never
too late
That’s pretty great. They are somewhat optimistic, & in good spirits. Ready to take the next step as a team, instead of just furthering personal agendas.
Much will be lost in translation. Allison’s home town will forever be known as The Accursed City of Los Angeles. And therefore, much fun will be had, at the most powerful being in the multiverse’s expense.
Totally awesome. Cant wait for Book 3 in print..
A friend recommended this and I only recently caught up through the entire story. Dreamy and coherent by stages, or glazes of meaning… You really rip up the rug with your colour schemes and full spread city scenes.
Great work, man. I intentionally left all of the text comments that go with the images unread so that I can go back a second time and read the page + text accompaniment to get even further depth. >:] Looking forward to rereading with all this juicy context!
For some of the comments, ‘depth’ would be depth of insanity. But some of the insanity does mesh nicely with the world setting.
Foodliness is next to Godliness.
King of Swords!! THE HYPE IS REAL!!
this is my ot3 im living
Hrmm… I don’t recommend calling the alien mantis’ phone number (905-6791). Well, unless you have a body or large heap of trash you need to dispose of quickly. Think of it as Throne’s equivilent to 1-800-GOT-JUNK. Only the workers show up and devour everything right on the spot. It can be fascinating to watch. Just be careful what you point at, cuz it will disappear with a quickness.
Cio’s face upon learning that Allison claims cooking skill is not a trusting one.
My spleen and kidneys filtered this association out also – thanks, my dudes!

King of swords as in Intra the king of swords?
Very good. I’ll have to try to get my hands on the physical books, too.
What a lovely cityscape! And a great ending to a chapter. I’m eager to see what will happen next.
i’m already looking forward to having book 3 in hard-copy. woot!
This is awesome… I can’t wait to see book four.
It was awesome, thank you!
I’ve only been to LA once or twice in my life and so cannot say if it is cursed or not. Then again, I do recall seeing the city from my airplane window as we were landing and I could not miss the smog hanging over the city like a pall. I was only in the city for 2 days to interview at UCLA Law, but the summer heat and the oppressive smog made the city feel…somewhat unworldy and surreal, almost like I was on an alien planet.
And I live in Washington, D.C., the one city that seems to make absolutely no sense to the rest of America because it’s where the White House, Congress and the Supreme Court are. “Inside the Beltway” (a common nickname for DC) seems bizarre to the rest of America because this city runs on (and exists because of) national politics. So if LA seems like a cursed city, then DC is a crazy one.
But for me, it’s just home.
Thank you very much for all the amazing work you have done so far, I look forward to the next book immensely.
Here’s to hoping that Cio and White Chain will get to see what Allison’s home is like sooner or later.
