Oh boy, it sure would be inconvenient if Davinchi Solomania were to step in and fight Allison the moment this fight is over. “Congrats, you are the last one standing, let’s go to the final round right now. Oh, you drew some blood from me? That’s okay I’ll grant you a boon as soon as I’ve removed that key from your skull.”
A country in never more vulnerable to invasions than when it has exhausted itself fighting another one. What has David Dimadome to lose from just swooping in and finishing her after all this is over?
Good job, White Chain and Allison, you both blew it.
The Seven have a truce, and claiming the master key would break it. How confident is Salami that he could take it before the other six notice and intervene? One of them is standing right next to him presently. Does he think even with the power of that key ge could beat them all? Jagganoth, who is immortal, invincible?
He knows war is inevitable, two of the Seven have already been in open conflict. He is respecting and enforcing the truce untill the moment arrives where he can obtain the obvious advantage.
David can see the writing on the wall.
Besides, he has expressed a desire to leave his empire behind and to continue on his quest to achieve royalty. The means to do so are right in front of them, and the one holding on to them is weakened and fighting their own allies.
David is not a timid man. He lost and gambled everything multiple times to get where he is now and his ambitions are great. I doubt he will let this opportunity slip by.
One of the Seven might be right there, but they won’t be in the ring with him when he’s a hair away from the key. The benefit is too great and the current balance of power is too fragile to not do this.
Alternatively: Gog-Agog swoops in to take the key. They have shown a lot of interest too and it would not be without precedent. They tried to convince Allison to become a part of them too.
Plus, it would surprise most people. The focus has been on David and Allison so far, with Gog-Agog as the “humble commentator” of the tournament. It’s the perfect cover and they are just crazy enough to try it.
Fascinating idea. But Allison alone could take any one Gog-Agog unit (see “it’s not my first time slapping a goddess in the face” earlier in the book), so Alicio could do it one handed. Therefore, look for a fusion of Worms to build a body the size of Jagganoth or bigger.
Does the gradual revealing of more and more angelic body suggest that White Chain’s armor is breaking down? If so, then Allicio has very nearly won this fight.
Goodness, 82 White Chain Born In Emptiness Returns to subdue evil, while an indecent display, your vibrant colors are a blessing to the eyes. May your battle against the impostor king be fruitful.
This one is not pleased that this one’s brother 6 Juggernaut Star Scours the Universe was so liberal in his handling of 82 White Chain Born in Emptiness Returns to Subdue Evil. This one can veritably taste the edges of corruption in these one’s brother 82 White Chain Born in Emptiness Returns to Subdue Evil’s soulflame. Brother 18 Flames Scorch the World, were you there when 2 Michael allowed 6 Juggernaut Star Scours the Universe to do thus with these one’s brother? Or is this one’s hypothesis of 82 White Chain Born in Emptiness Returns to Subdue Evil attempting to use violence as a language to communicate with the Devil Skinned Warrior?
My, this one always forgets how long these ones names are when extruded through the tongues of the races. Tragically this one has yet to learn how to say these ones names in thus format. T’would be vasty more convenient.
We do know of 2 Michael and his plot. As well as as Brother 6 Juggernaut Star Scours the Universe and their coaxing of 82 White Chain Born in Emptiness Returns to Subdue Evil. We however choose not to interfere or say much on the matters at hand. We are merely here to observe. Though if we truly had to be honest, we much prefer to root for the underdog in a fight predestined to go to the False King. It makes the sorrow of their eventual loss all a tad sweeter. Wouldn’t you agree, brother 17 Lectures the Informed Blue Flame?
Ah, hmm, yes…This one had not considered thus flavors.. This one does agree indeed brother 18 Flames Scorch the World. This one considers this one to be as neutral as is possible in these times, but this one feels this one was rather swayed by the momentum of fate to gravitate to the predestined victor. This one will admit also that this one has somewhat of a soft spot for these ones brother 82 White Chain Born in Emptiness Returns to Subdue Evil, as his utter tenacity has been for so long such a vast well of data. This one will ponder the savor of this one’s brother 18 Flames Scorch the World’s words.
I’m not certain *why* she knows these moves. If they’re the angelic fighting style alluded to a couple chapters back, wouldn’t it have been impossible for Allison to learn them properly?
THIS ONE HAS REQUESTED MANY TIMES THAT THIS ONE’S BROTHER 45 LIVES IN YOUR HEAD RENT-FREE CEASE AND DESIST LIVING IN THIS ONE’S STORAGE SCALP PLEASE. THIS ONE HAS DATACENTER FEES TO PAY AND RENT IS NOT CHEAP BROTHER.
This one is eternally grateful, great Un-Fel, of the True Gods. This one was sorely wounded by this one’s brother 5 golden rings, but thus have given succor and kindness to this humble one.
Allison knowing those moves makes me think that this is likely some kind of hidden test on White Chain’s part. If Allison can recognise the martial arts and respond appropriately, it indicates that at her core, she’s capable of more than the very thing White Chain accused her of. If she can’t, and if White Chain beats her…. well. ^_^
All said and done for, White Chain’s penalty isn’t really much of a penalty, you know?
Going back to the house and all?
That’s fucking minor.
Anyway, the really interesting thing here, to me, is that Allison recognises the movements of Krayu Mat at all.
But then – is it Allison doing the recognising? Or is that Cio, remembering how the angels struck her down when she was Yabalchoath who was?
Or is White Chain mixing in some Empty Palm techniques? Or perhaps Empty Palms is based on Krayu Mat but tones the power level and danger way down. Either might explain why Allison recognized what attack was coming.
Well, here is what I think.
Krayu Mat is apparently derived from the “primeval killing movements” of angels fighting unbound devils in the abyss.
Perhaps that very Adaptive Black Flame has held onto a trick or two since the Old Days. Not the student we call Alison or the mask we call Ciocie, but the flame.
I’m going to log a prediction now. Previously I predicted that White Chain’s current body would be destroyed and it would act like the demon and join with Alison. I am going to extend that: Zoss called her Alice previously; when Alison joined Ciao (spell?) they changed names; when White Chain joins them they will change names again and be called Alice. Essentially, she will become the being that Zoss gave the key to.

Well dang. That would make for a very interesting plot change indeed. Also an Allicio vs. Gog-Agog fight would look awesome.
Unbeknownst to David everyone in his empire was Gog-Agog all along, waiting for this moment to morph into Omegog-Agong. Playing the long game, baby!
The Devourer of Worlds
Which of them knows these moves? Allison because she was taught by White Chain, or Cio because she’s fought angels before?
I’d guess the first, but both seem possible.
Could she have learned them from Incubus? seems unlikely, but no point in discounting possibilities at this early stage.
Does the gradual revealing of more and more angelic body suggest that White Chain’s armor is breaking down? If so, then Allicio has very nearly won this fight.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Who’d have thought White Chain mains Mu-12?
The Student knows what the Master has taught them…
The element of surprise is lost.
Hoping for the turnaround, still concerned that other jerk on the side is going to step in and ruin things…

Maybe they’re new to the comic and just having fun? You don’t gotta be so rude about it.
Know your place, demiurge.
This Aeon’s excitement to reply to others’ comments is to be commended.

Discipline, huh? A great thing until you get too angry to use it, which line I think White Chain may just have crossed.
Curious of White Chain to throw out moves that Allison knows by heart. Either she is underestimating her pupil or…
The student becomes the master

Who would have guessed that the being of pure law and order is a predictable fighter?
Also, who thinks AL-YISUN has gained her first ancillary battle consciousness in Cio?
I do! I love that concept, thanks for remembering it!
Terrible scream of bound rage and fear, huh? Not really doing much for that claim that White Chain isn’t a being of chaotic emotion!

Oh my a being that is a trinity embodying Law, Chaos and the muddled mortal in the middle.
Allicio’s gonna need to get her left turn signal replaced.
“What is happening?”
“She is beginning to believe.”
Ah, it turns out I was entirely wrong as to what would occur on this page.
This blog was… how do you say it? Relevant!! Finally
I have found something that helped me. Appreciate it!

I am hoping this is White Chain helping Allison by making her overcome the toughest challenger in this tournament.
