I warned that Jadis’ powers were not to be doubted and for good reason too it seems. It seem Pree Allison is being forced to witness the shape of the wheel or simply a small fragment of it, she should take even greater caution with Jadis in the future lest her eye be gouged out by a jagged spoke.
I’m intrigued by the plants. It looks like Allison escaped back into the atrium … but that seems too easy. It would play better if this is some metaphorical garden of repose, a meta-place from which Allison can observe all the possible futures _and then pick one_ that is different to Jadis’ script. Jadis never quite got there, presumably, and is now employing a meat puppet.
Furthe prediction: if Allison is to pick a future, she’ll have to observe it fully, and will sacrifice one eye to gain the knowledge. See also Wotan + cover of BOI.
Curious possibility… I wonder if Zoss had done something like that. But if he did, how he saved his vision, then? His eyes are alright. Maybe some difference in methods?
Well yeah, this is how she ultimately gains total control over all of creation and saves the world: Being pushed into a universal-observing void by a demiurge and not liking it.
Considering her eyebrows seem to have gone through this ordeal unscathed, I think this may be chalked up to a supreme vision Jadis is imposing on Allison
Seek the truth behold the truth reveal the truth
I see she’s inherited the frenzied flame…
For some reason, this page disturbs me more than any of the other pages of KSBD.
Two eyes may be too many to behold this truth

She will take exactly as much caution as she will take, according to the words of the witch.
If her recent actions are anything to go by, her destined amount will be an incredibly large none.
Is it just me or do her hands and wrists look less skeletal in the last panel?
BEHOLD
CORN
I’ve made it a tradition to only read these pages while sitting in front of a roaring fire in the darkness. Feels appropriate.
What smells like burning eyeballs?
Oh no I left my eyeballs to boil for TOO long, they’ll be RUINED!!
Is it just me, or is her atrophied arm no longer atrophied?
DO YOU SEE
Where we’re going, we won’t need eyes to see.
The Universe is spicy, flaming hot on the eyeballs!
Having your eyeballs boiled must be among the most unpleasant experiences there are.
*2001 Space Odyssey noises*

Are those blobs of black creation magic I see?
And when the truth comes flashing bright (the truth only your heart knows)
you’ll never wish upon a star (or wonder where the times goes).
You’d spend it all on strings and wood (and something sweet for your nose),
If you could see what I can see (when I’m cleaning windows)
Don’t look away! Al-Ys-Un. All Is One. See it!
It’s OK Allison, you didn’t really need those eyeballs anyway.
I mean, it’s not like you used them to avoid and of the obviously looming disasters that were headed your way before this….

When the Taco Bell hits and the bathroom is occupied.
Behold Allison these are the comments
I know, I know
I feel the same way.
wait…did her eyes melt???
