Wielder of Names 5-102
Chapter: 5
>> LARGER SIZE <<
“Mastery: the power to fill a man with death before his next exhalation.”
– Book of War, Knights Belligerent
The next Kill Six Billion Demons update will be Friday, August 5th with a two page spread.
Going to give this one another day in the oven to not rush it, but here’s something if you want to spoil yourself a bit
Step right up! Place your bets! Name your champion!
I call the Knight of the Holey Cleaver and will wager three aetheric lodestones (in true glass).
All my money on Battle Baby.
I’ll take that action.
Iconoclast, but interest rides upon Eris-Lo Kai, titled Vatra.
Speaks the loudest, wears the most prominent frown. First spear thrown too.
I guess he’ll at least take a while to die.
You know, If I was part of an army of bad asses all about to attack two people and one of them couldn’t even deign to look at us, I would let the guy next to me go first.
As a precautionary measure.
It appears that Mother Om had forgotten to plan for the size of some of her guardians. It is alright however, they appear to make their own way.
Such a sight to see. 108 blades shining like stars in this dark room.
Such a sight to see, 108 blade shining like stars in the sky.
Bird man takes the golden reward for being the first one to get merk. Now who’s gonna get silver?
Oh, I see a man at the back as a matter of fact
His eyes are as red as the sun
And the girl in the corner let no one ignore her
Cause she thinks she’s the passionate one!
OH!
It was like lightning
Everybody was frightening
And the music was soothing
Cause they all started grooving!
So I am guessing Mottom ate all the remaining youth fruit and became a super baby
Yes way!
In this fool’s history of vagrancy, murder and looting, he has been long ago learned that the correct response to gigantic and evil looking infants is to cry out, “Oh Hell No!” and rapidly abscond in the opposite direction.
The Buddha baby says, “Standoffs are for losers.”
This looks glorious.
I am definitely /eager/ for more.
How does grandeur retain itself?
It is centrifugal, orbiting mundanity, escalating but tethered.
I am cannot fathom how, but I evade dizziness and retain utter clarity.
Is this Mottom, having eaten all the (remaining) fruit at once?
Hrotomos, one of the Pursuers who survived the battle of Hell 71 and now chase the Key of Kings.

The colossal child was present the last time we saw all of the pursuers of the Key gathered together. http://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/wielder-of-names-2-39-pursuers/
Last time was just in Shade form, was all.
And now what would be appropriate would be one of those “community events” where everyone proposes personal histories for each of those previously unseen characters.
…Unless they already have them.
Would not be surprised.
OH SHIT IT’S TIME BABY
Whoa! way to crash a party…
…Well, if all these mercenaries were coming after me, I supposed I’d very terrified and flattered at the same time!
You’ve seen Space Baby.
You’ve tolerated Time Baby.
Can you deal with the awesome funkiness of Soul Baby?
I am afraid I have developed feelings for Orange Goggles there in the last two frames.
I shouldn’t assume much about people we’ve only just met… but in my experience, feelings for piscean folk usually don’t last long. Awkward biological differences. Abbreviated emotions. Odd smells.
That, and she’s likely a bloody woman, judging by the company she keeps.
Alas, you are right. Yet it remains that some of the most beautiful things are also the most fleeting.
I’m glad you have such an easy time letting things go.
I expect your crush is about to get crushed by a giant baby.
Princess Ruto flashbacks?
I had too look that one up, actually. Never played Zelda in my youth. Yet I cannot confidently say the same for the author. The resemblance is strong with this one.
Hrotomos (the big baby) would likely be the most difficult Pursuer to flee from, as the dynamic entry techniques of K’hul-Eid are known to thwart both space and time. It is said that a certain inquisition uses a modified version of these techniques to always appear where/when none would expect them.
Not to mention how fast they can be, what with their long strides and reach.
damn spaniards
Is that one of the dreaded Infinite Mothers in the second panel of the bottom row?
Ok, lots of things to comment on, but going to bring it to minimum of three;
1. Wonderful page.
2. Kodos to those guards for their unperturbed discipline in the face of ever so much FUBAR and jumping into a defensive formation.
3. Speaking of the FUBAR…wasn’t the place entirely empty barley a minute ago? Were the ones on the ground floor hiding behind the furniture or something? I can’t get the image of the mercs crouching on all fours; feet, tops of heads, and various horns and growths sticking out from behind small chests and tables now all while whispering “Shh! Shhh, here they come..”. >.>
These aren’t palace guards, they’re the Pursuers from Hell 71. I’m wondering where those hissing masked lovelies are…
These are not palace guards. They are the Pursuers from Hell 71. The hissing masked demon lovelies should be near?
Oh, there he is. I wondered where Giant Baby Guy got to.
Giant Man Baby needs trilby badly!
