It makes sense. It’s awesome, but not awesome enough to let her beat all the other Seven if they unite against her (which they would.) So taking it or (as she put it) even touching it is suicide.
You know your plans suck when even a deluded mad god says with brutal honesty how terrible it was. Also really digging the old crones powers over life reminds me of an empress I once served.
It teaches one of the lessons of the Art most exquisitely, however.
The terrible enemy called “I” exists beyond the veil of possibility. a craven that hides behind every decision left untaken. To understand the Enemy, one must first destroy and recreate the universe by your will alone.
As Ciocie Cioelle has been taught, and Allison has demonstrated, understanding is weakness. Accommodation. however, merely requires you tell the Enemy a story it appreciates.
“Let there be no beginnings, for I am a consummate liar.”
“Let there be no endings, for Death is a truth most uninteresting.”
Memenology is a True Art. Master it and you’ll be able to laugh YISUN in Their faces (and They’ll laugh right back at you because YISUN has a sense of humour)
Once upon a time there was a sad chubby, elephant-human man. But now there is Jagganoth. There was only Zuul but now there is Jagganoth. If I take off Jagganoths helmet will he die? Okay these are my first attempts, maybe I’ll get better at memeing Jagganoth.
I dunno about you but he has weird elephant feet. That’s all the evidence I need to qualify him as an elephant man. Or maybe he’s just a hardcore furry using magic and his key of kings to transfigure his body. His mask gets him closer to who he truly feels he is, hahahahah.
I always thought that the ‘human’are basically anything non demon and non angel. So they can be of any shape and size, as long as the are mortal. It doesn’t just mean homo sapiens.
Young Allison’s best point is perhaps her honesty. She’s not even entirely aware of the power she wields, and so she puts herself down, unaware of her own desires. I wonder when she will realize what she truly wants?
Woe to the sinners of the earth, those that hold not wrath in their heart. For wrath is the sin of the righteous. The kings ride high, sure in victory, for their word be the law, even as a pale shadow of YSUN’s glory, and all who will not bow must die.
This one is reminded of the following quote:
“THAT’S the plan?! That is NOT a good plan!”
“I didn’t say it was a GOOD plan, I didn’t say it was a WISE plan, I said it was BETTER than YOUR plan!”
Has Jagganoth increased in power recently? It’s been mentioned he is entirely impervious to physical harm, I believe, but had assumed the other demiurges could combat him effectively. Perhaps not.
Well, I don’t think it’s changed. The other 6 could certainly match Jagganoth IF they worked together. The problem, though, is that they HAVE to work together.
We’ve already seen Incubus pay Allison a visit. And Solomon will almost certainly have a desire to make use of the heir or usurp his power for himself. So I think the obvious conclusion here is that Mottom does not believe that they will cooperate anymore. That if at least one among the 6 of them decided to make for a power play, they’ll be unable to face Jagganoth in unison.
And I also believe that she does not think that they can face Jagganoth even if one of them had Zoss’ key. Which speaks quite highly of Jagganoth’s powers and, also, that simply having Zoss’ key in one’s possession isn’t enough to make one the strongest in all of creation, even if that one happened to be one of the Black Kings themselves.
The moment I heard that Jagganoth was as powerful as the rest of the Seven combined I knew that he’d be the key to the equilibrium falling apart. Hard to maintain Mutually Assured Destruction if said destruction is not, in fact, mutually assured.
Those at the top of the pyramid are often the most adept at keeping its base sufficiently wide. But then there’s always some pillock who comes along and cuts off the nose to spite the sphinx, and then where are we? A desert of scorched rivers and badly-orchestrated metaphors, where only the guilelessly literal may survive.
Young King Allison will do well in the coming days, I feel.
Grasp the power of the key or be crushed by Jagganoth, fearful demiurge.
Aren’t the thorn guys also working for Jagganoth?
Have to say its pretty surprising Mottom doesnt want the Key to rule all Keys.
It makes sense. It’s awesome, but not awesome enough to let her beat all the other Seven if they unite against her (which they would.) So taking it or (as she put it) even touching it is suicide.
still surprising she doesn’t at least hunger for such power
=//=
IT WOULDN’T SATE HER THOUGH…
The Master of the Trifold Law’s writings on this subject are simple, to be sure, but marvellously explanatory.
A peace of drawn swords among equals lasts precisely as long as it takes for the equals to cease being so.
Alternatively, until a non-equal finds enough stealth and a dagger.
The first equal, after being stabbed by the unequal, will soon cease to be so, so the first lesson applies.
You know your plans suck when even a deluded mad god says with brutal honesty how terrible it was. Also really digging the old crones powers over life reminds me of an empress I once served.
Did you serve the Thief of Life?
We do not talk about Her Imperiousness; her legacy has a way of cropping up in bad ways, even after her death.
It’s bad juju.
That condescending troll?
Who would ever admit to serving her?
no- I know this one. false immortals and rivers of blood bed with him. it is a world best left unsaid.
Best stay at home and not think of the horrors of that world.
It teaches one of the lessons of the Art most exquisitely, however.

Friend Ulurhad, I believe you credit the mechanisms of worlds with a little more foresight than they warrant. Some things are simple yet.
Poor form. Memes arise organically, trying to force them never ends well.
usually that’s true… but now there is Jagganoth.
it was just like bart…
=//=
BUT NOW THERE IS JAGGANOTH.
TELL ME ABOUT JAGGANOTH, WHY DOES HE WEAR THE MASK???
I saw it as more of an offering than an attempt at forcing things. Of course, gifts can indeed be attempts to foist obligations in disguise…
Memenology is a True Art. Master it and you’ll be able to laugh YISUN in Their faces (and They’ll laugh right back at you because YISUN has a sense of humour)
YISUN is clearly the best deity ever.
Though, I like Yis-Voya a lot too 😉
A vatra may be master of both the Red art and the White, but even then they must strive to master the Dank Art of Memes.

Jaganoth always has been plain human. I mean, until he made his body give meters tall lol.
I dunno about you but he has weird elephant feet. That’s all the evidence I need to qualify him as an elephant man. Or maybe he’s just a hardcore furry using magic and his key of kings to transfigure his body. His mask gets him closer to who he truly feels he is, hahahahah.
If you look at the sum of the events on page http://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/wielder-of-names-1-4/
he looks like a normal guy, just a bit taller and heavier. But he does seem like identifying to elephants.
The furry theory seems the best!
Once there was Strong Sad. But now… there is Jagganoth.
I always thought that the ‘human’are basically anything non demon and non angel. So they can be of any shape and size, as long as the are mortal. It doesn’t just mean homo sapiens.
What about the Servants, then?
Go read again your liturgy, young fellow.

The Heir needs some conditioning.
How indeed can there be peace when the Tower of Blood causes death with every step? Better to be rid of him.
“I see a world on the edge of a blade. Without balance, it will fall.”
And yet if it keeps balance, it will be cut in two.
Only if it’s pushed or pulled down.
This sorry skull thinks of a very sharp blade. 🙂
It was so once… but now we have JAGGANOTH!
A worm wonders what giants choose to have in their gardens.
I’d read an edit of War and Peace with every instance of war replaced with Jagganoth.
Vice is when one sin eclipses the others. Virtue is when the sins, in balance, hide one another. The absence of sin? That is the Old Law.
Wise.
The absence of sin is boredom. Old Law is also boredom. Coincidence? I think not!

This one thinks that her highness is less than pleased about the recent actions of the Red God, if her terrifying visage is anything to go by.

Better no one have it than Jagganoth, I suppose.
Though she may just be crazy enough to let Alice live.
The mad queen’s mind works in strange, unstraight ways
Lawful evil?
Fearfully selfish.
Oh my oh no. Nothing worse than betting it all and finding out your chips are worthless.
Or they are worth far more then expected and they are rejected
Not terribly expected.

ah fuck I’m all caught up ;_;
I understand your pain, mate. For once I too was all caught up. But now its a weekly ritual, and I’m cool with that.
A ritual as old and respected than brewing coffee.
welcome.
Welcome to The Wheel
Thank YISUN someone understands the value of the status quo.

Ah, the peace is closer to dissolving than I’d guessed. I wonder if Mottom plans to cower in the face of Jagganoth or slay him?
Better no one have it than Jagganoth, I suppose.
She may just be crazy enough though to let Alice live.
