Wielder of Names 4-68
Chapter: 4
“Take care when ye walk when there’s a dim age about. Many awful lights will spring up a-hungering when men’s hearts darken. When the darkling sky reigns, a man’s eyes grow so adimmed he can scarcely tell the glimmer o’ window light asides from the terrible heat o’ the forest fire.”
– Peregrine Knight Enric
Someone is not awed by divinity’s powers, and we all know the name of this person.
Alison bears a Key, and is a Wielder of Names. Might she be about to provide Nadia with some more Names?
Something seems to have perturbed our esteemed queen.
Never trust a fart, even when masking it.
If this one had hands, he would applaud you.
I hope to see the successor standing tall, bathed in the light of her brow and full of a righteous rage against the demon queen. She doesn’t strike me as the reasonable one, so i dont see her kneeling.
It is not reasonable for Royalty to prostrate itself before a pretender.
I really want this to be someone quietly having a wank at the back.
It won’t be that, but between now and the next update, I can dream.
A God-King do not prostrate.
I don’t see anger or digust in the eyes of the queen. I see FEAR
I don’t see anger or disgust in the eyes of the queen. I see FEAR
Most likely she can see ALLYISUN’s key, which until now nobody in this entire castle has noticed.
I would suppose the Pursuers have arrived. (WoN 2-39)
That would be most wonderful to behold; a bunch of greedy, unwashed, travel-dusted, swearing headhunters rampaging through Mottom’s court in search of one among the many who kneel before her.
Allison glaring back at her would indeed be the best way to start the next page off.
She does have a //marvellous// glare, doesn’t she?
That moment when you turn a dude into cherry blossoms and then remember you’re allergic to pollen.
Indeed, nothing ruins a good imperious sniff quite like the pollen of folly.
She does look like someone that’s about to sneeze… 8D
It has been much speculated that it is Allison who does not bow. After discussing it with my colleagues however, we broached the possibility that it may be something else entirely.
The Pursuers, or the Thorns, may well be crashing the party.
Zoss certainly can attest that the thorns knights at least are most unwelcome guests at any sort of Royal tribute or coronation.
Insert record scratching noise.
I’m guessing it’s something in the chest(might be alsewhere, too), something not so easily dealt with as the tree-monk-king and his petal-berserker-ninja. They might have prepared some nasty surprise for her, knowing full well they would die, but doing it anyway out of hatred. That expression of hers is a mix of surprise, fear, disgust, and anger. I also see recognition in there, as if she just saw something she has some bad memories about. And look at those curtains on her table-hat, she’s actually taken aback so much she jerked away from it. If it indeed were a non-kneeling Allison, or some other mundane show of disrespect, Mottom would have kept her cool and turned the offender into a stump or something with yet another art-enhanced sarcastic remark. Nah-uh, this it some yet-unseen twist.
That’s a possibility. But she knows that the Heir is going to kill her, that prophecy was made in her presence. If she saw Allison’s Key and recognizes it for what it is, that’s a valid reason suddenly be very frightened. Zoss’s key is substantially more powerful than hers and she’s have to assume that Alison knows how to use it (otherwise she’s be a complete idiot to come there) in which case it is very likely that she’d soon be the one turned into tastefully arranged flora.
What’s got her panties in a twist?
Who is the head on the platter, do they have a cool name?
I believe it is Karadan Fror, who showed disrespect to this Kindle One.
Who put a twist in her panties?
Looks like someone’s put her panties in a twist.
Open the door
Drop on the flo’
Everybody grovel to Om some mo’~
Well you have to start killing if you want to build that demon corpse pile anytime soon…
A question about the shadows in the second panel: they are cast from a light behind the figures, to the right of the panel, perhaps where Nadia’s throne was. What was that?
This posturing is pointless in a world of blades and power.
If one is a god, what is the purpose of a facade?
Kill Six Billion Demons stands to face her.
