I was re reading ksbd, and I have a (maybe) stupid question : http://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/ksbd-2-27/ in here 82 call Number 1 a “blue devil” . But Number 1 has a red mask … soo is he a blue or a red ?
Subsidiary question : is Praman Nand a gold devil ?
It’s not “lipstick”, it’s warpaint! Makes for a way better history that way. “Putting on warpaint helps me focus my mind.”
See? That sounds way cooler.
Humans have long understood the power of masks, mantles, and metamorphosis through mimicry. Allison in particular was well-studied in the wearing of masks long before she came to Throne. When the world is but imagined, imaginings become quite potent.

Despite all her insecurity and weakness, Allison is very quickly marking herself as a proper monarch. She’s embodying that kind of fire that makes one want to lie a sword at her feet and swear service. And I’m not particularly prone to that kind of behavior!
Why do I get the feeling that Allison would be tweeting right now, if her cell phone was working?
“tfw youre transported to another world w/o wanting to and have to fight the lords of creation #bummer #NotYourKing”

The nature of devils has changed since then, I believe. Number 1 seems to be a demi-imp, the diminished form of a Crimson Devil.
Praman Nand, meanwhile, appears to be a Gatekeeper, a kind of Sustainer. Others of his kind can be seen here (http://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/magus-gatekings-door/), lounging around the King’s Door.

If the comments section doesn’t write Cio’s fictional-retelling of the rise of the heir to Throne for her, I will be surprised.
An Instrument for such glorious magick. A meditative art, for glamour and war.

“She was worried I might die. I might die? No shit…” – Make ’em Purr, Copper Gone, Sage Francis.
I really love Cio’s posing in this, Abaddon. Just a great series of panels.
Like Frank Drebbin says, you should always look your best, even when you’re by yourself.
Forget determination. There’s a gal with *GUMPTION*
