I am making $100 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $16,000 a month by working on a laptop, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply. Everybody must try this job now by just using this website.. www.Moneypay6.com
Sure, HERE, with context, it works as a response; if you used this anywhere else the cringe would be felt around the world and anyone who read it would be entirely bewildered by what appears to be a very poor imitation of a Yorkshireman on acid.
wow! it’s almost as if it’s a response meant to fit in with the rest of this comment sections vibe and with the work being talked about, and not an out of context response or, say, a smartass comment made by someone who seems to browse reddit all day and that takes you out of the comic’s vibe, for instance. do I sound like someone pissed I’m my cereal? absolutely, but I’m just tired of your bullshit.
Idiot- I’ve never seen nor interacted with you before, so I have no idea what you’re blithering on about with regard to reddit and cereal etc, but allow me to assure you the sentiment is amply reciprocated. You don’t give a shit about me or what I think, so why on Earth would you think I’d give a shit about you or what you think? Come on now.
yeah, yeah, your right. frankly, i was just having a really bad day that day, and your comment angered me for some reason i cant even remember. sorry about that, i take back everything i said-would delete the comments if i could, but this site doesn’t allow for it, at least as far as i’ve seen.
Hmmm. Incubus took a major potion of the key that was held by Maya. Remember the power can be lent out or divided/stolen. Like Yabalchoath took from Mammon.
Cio stated “All the keys are fragments, Weak copies of the true key, each TUNED to a different voice… Now there are only seven keys outside of yours (Allison’s)… At times the Seven will fragment their own power as Zoss lent his.”
Incubus could of copied and Tuned the power away from Maya, severely weakening her key, Her hair pin that she is so fond of.
Though he must sustain his power, he takes from his followers and seems to need more to sustain the power of the key. He is a leech. I wonder if its proper to say, he doesn’t produce his own power.
The fact that incubus now has it and Maya is still alive is likely the reason the others all disrespect him and say he isn’t a proper demiurge. I assume she just gave it to him or threw it away and he took it instead of getting it “properly” through conquest.
Ha, been a minute since i said something. I … vaguely remember Jaggy himself going on about how he’s just… holding onto it for her temporarily until she comes back for it. That might have been a taunt, but that kinda implies she gave it up willingly.
I thought for a long time that Maya took Au Vam’s key (since ceded to Incubus, in her rejection of all things demiurge), and Yaun Jantrith’s, but it’s an interesting jink that at least half of that is arsey versey.
I guess with Au Vam being quite an intelligent, erudite and seemingly just (for a demiurge) ruler (and Maya’s commander), there’s more reason that Jagganoth might oppose him and wrest the key, than Maya. Jagganoth’s flame is ‘Blade’; I now imagine Au Vam’s was too, but don’t think there’s been any direct reference to it.
Ah yes. I find that when shaving, it’s best to soak in steaming hot water for as long as can be tolerated, then bind the hair with oil before shaving it with the sharpest possible blade. This results in fewer cuts, and smoother skin.
How curious. While I fully agree with using as sharp as possible a blade to cut the hairs, I find it best to keep the skin cold while lathering or oiling the hairs in order to maximise comfort and minimise cuts to oneself.
hey this is my first comment here, and since nobody else seems to have commented yet I’m just gonna use this opportunity to thank you for your work, I recently discovered K6BD and I’ve been binge-reading it twice already. It’s been heavy-handedly implied that she left behind her throne and key and that Incubus snatched it up. Or that she literally just handed it to him and walked out.
That’s why the other Demiurges look down on him. He never gained his slice of the 7 Part World through conquest. Mottom didn’t either but at least she killed the previous wielder. Dragon didn’t necessarily kill directly, but ink and gold both ran like blood where he swept his pen, and all competitors drowned in his ledgers.
Keys get amalgamated. Each world has a key which corresponds to it, but when you collect multiple keys they get merged, which is how we get the 7 keys in the current day of the story (well, now less since Jagganoth ate two of them).
But point being, yeah we can’t really estimate how many keys Nadia Om’s husband had before he was killed, and it’s very likely she continued with the conquest and came out successfully enough to be part of the 7-part Pact.
“Yes I once cut all the hairs on a gentleman’s head in Cairo shortly after the war when the world was in uproar and to a young man everything seemed possible.”
In which Jagganoth completely misses the point that the innocents harmed by those he wishes to hold to account need the world. It’s where they keep most of their stuff.
The world has been full of people protecting boys and mothers the old fashioned way for as long as it has been filled by those who would abuse them. The cycle is pure & infertile.
He’s yet to be proven wrong. I dearly hope he is but doing so is a more fearsome feat than simply surviving him. Rot and ruin surge upon us like the tide and, for all his capacity for destruction, it would flow around his blade and take those behind and beside as if he was not there. Worse, power draws power and his drawing blade in defense would bring hell to those he wishes to shield. If he was somehow successful, even for a moment, that same ruin would bubble up from the HEARTS of the innocent and leave him having to cull those he once defended. Excise one tumor after another until you realize there is no longer a patient on the table.
Sometimes when you are playing a game of poker and you realize the game is rigged, the guy across from you cheating like a bastard, the right move doesn’t involve cards. It involves hitting the jackass with the table and to hell with the rest of the game.
Proving him wrong is fairly simple, just look at the comic’s current situation. The cycle has recurred, essentially, infinitely. From what we know, Jagganoth always flips the table, always slugs every other player and… it never works. Worse, he’s one of the few people who knows that it never works, and does it anyway. He always finds himself playing the game once again. He has, by his own actions, caused infinite suffering and prolonged the same for an essentially infinite span of time, exactly the opposite of his own stated (and highly dubious) goal.
Well, no. He always follows Metatron’s orders and is killed by the Heir. He has only recently started rebelling, which has resulted in this strange loop where the Heir was kidnapped and Allison got the key instead. He’s the reason why the loop might finally be broken, even if it’s not the way he planned.
Per Jagganoth on BREAKER OF INFINITIES 2-46, that’s not correct.
“I have yet to learn why. I have not the memory of it. But I do know that I am left to clean up. It all ends in me.”
Apparently even an ascendant heir never manages to kill Jagganoth.
As to this loop being unique, I may be wrong, but given that Metatron’s gang having uncertain memories of previous loops, I don’t know that we can say that this the loop that Jagganoth first rebelled, or that that might lead to the loop’s end. I seem to recall Zoss indicating previously that his choice of Allison was deliberate, and that he hoped this loop would turn out differently because of it. Even if this is the first time Jagganoth’s acted out, all that would show is that in the prosecution of his philosophy he’s been wrong a nearly infinite number of times, and for some reason believes that repeating the same actions under his own motivation will have a different outcome. His stated goal is omnicide so he can somehow build a better world, which according to him is what he was doing anyway, minus the building a better world.
Yooooooooo, I’m so looking forward to seeing where this goes. God damn am I stoked for Aunty Maya’s training montage.
Also, Jagganoth sitting on a pile of bodies lamenting the existence of murderous monsters is … as choice. At least by the present time, he acknowledges that he himself must also vanish, if only to free the world entirely of suffering.
Now is the time to set the merchandising wheels in motion so we can buy Jagganoth’s floral underpants in packs of 3. On your website for Xmas 2023, available in a selection of sizes.
Seems like, as with (for example) Welsh surnames- i.e. “David ap Rhys ap Howell”- that would imply Allison to be the student of Maya, and Maya to be the student of White Chain, though, given the apparent meaning/ in-comic usage of “ten”.
Jaggy really needed a hug. There are probably ten or twenty steps between killing one murderous despite and continual apocalyptic omnicides, but I could be wrong.
It seems that the great keys are nothing much as weapons of war. Jantris had one, but could not defeat Yaun, who had none. Maya had no key, but destroyed Jantris. Solomon had none but slew Yemod and took his key; and lately doesn’t bother to use it in combat, not even in his ultimate fight with Jagganoth. Allison has the master key but gains nothing from it.
Only Cio said that that the keys were weapons. One wonders whether she’d badly misunderstood them.
Yep. During the tournament of power, it became apparent that just having the Master Key wouldn’t be enough for Allison to win. A key has great possibilities, but skill is required to make full use of that potential.
Not sure how the scaling works though. I don’t think it’s been made clear whether a small key (one out of 777,777 possible keys) has as much potential as the Master Key.
42 Fragments the Universe Beyond All Reintegration
Perhaps the scaling works in the other direction? The key to one gate is a weapon in the “sharper rock” sense. A blended key is more subtle, and more powerful for creation, but less stabby. A blend of 111,111 keys is useless in combat. The master key doubtless has strategic value — Jagganoth wants it still — but not for fighting.
Plus Mottom murdered her husband (though he didn’t exactly ‘die’). Jadis ‘inherited’ hers, but it’s unclear if it was through murder or not.
Not to mention Mammon bought his, somehow, even though you’d expect such a thing to be grabbed up within five minutes of being dropped during the universal war.
I suspect, just like Maya and her teacher have no need of an actual blade to Cut, Maya doesn’t need the key in Incubus’ head to bear the word Flame. And he might know that, and it scares him shitless.
Either that, or she made a copy of the key and either kept the copy for herself (her hair tie) or gave the copy to Incubus w/out him knowing it was a copy. Alternately, if she doesn’t need “the” key to bear the word Flame, I bet she could power up her hair tie at any point she wishes to and steal Incubus’ power.
Given Incubus still relies on having a physical sword…that’s gonna be game-over for Incubus I bet.
But yeah. I think Maya could very well be the only one who might have been able to copy a key, or invoke the powers of a key without actually having the physical key. Much like she can Cut without a sword.
This is something perplexing to me. Jantris is clearly in decline here- as shown in a previous comic- but how is Yaun THAT strong, compared not only to him, but to Maya and Incubus, when he has no key/ obvious reason to be as massively overpowered as he apparently is? Maya said something like “we sensed we’d already been killed a thousand times”. Really? But she’s still strong enough here to, presumably easily(?), end Jantris?
Solomon walked up and slew a keybearer with seemingly little effort-
Based off of this, it appears the the Highlander game was won almost entirely by keyless individuals. Jagganoth bears no key here, Maya took hers from Jantris, Solomon took his from a single person, Mammon bought his, Mottom stole hers from her husband, and Jadis inherited hers. Unless each of them in turn went on to slay more key bearers- which could make sense- this only reinforces that the keys are not the most important factor at play.
Here, Yuan is a magically modified giant with incredible fighting skills, and a dead man. Unlike Dark Cloud and Pale Bolt, who still cling to swords and do not understand Maya’s teaching, Yuan has nothing to lose.
Wait, is Maya truly a proper demiurge on the level of the Seven and Allison? I thought there were only, well, eight of them left.
Fewer now.

Seriously, though, “this wouldn’t make sense if it were taken out of context” is a truly bizarre critique.
mom and dad are fighting.
Kill Six Billion Spambots!
No, the world Flame is held by Incubus now, so presumably he ended up with her key.
We have long known that Incubus usurped her seat as leader of the Middle Army. It’s now confirmed that he also usurped her throne as demiurge.
And he seemed really surprised when she returned to ‘protect the mouse ‘. As if he expected her to be out of commission at the very least.
rat*
Well, Cio’s husband did call her mouse.
Once.
Then a rat.
And good ole Murder the Gods was there.
Mmm.
Hmmm. Incubus took a major potion of the key that was held by Maya. Remember the power can be lent out or divided/stolen. Like Yabalchoath took from Mammon.

I vaguely recall it being stated that she abandoned the throne of her own choice.
I thought it was Jagganoth that has flame? I may be misremembering.
Maybe I’m mixing it up vs the whole firegod theme Jagganoth has going.
jagganoth’s word is blade
The fact that incubus now has it and Maya is still alive is likely the reason the others all disrespect him and say he isn’t a proper demiurge. I assume she just gave it to him or threw it away and he took it instead of getting it “properly” through conquest.
That has been suspected and now seems more than likely, yes.

Jagganoth also bears the title “Pankrator”, with Au Vam the only other person confirmed to bear it.
I think you’re right – Jagganoth takes Au Vam’s key, and probably a bunch of other things of his, too.
Before the era of the seven demiurges there was a *lot* of fighting over smaller key fragments.
Ah yes. I find that when shaving, it’s best to soak in steaming hot water for as long as can be tolerated, then bind the hair with oil before shaving it with the sharpest possible blade. This results in fewer cuts, and smoother skin.
That’s a cutting edge tutorial if I’ve ever heard one.
Observer of the Observed is observant.
This does, of course, assume that the goal is a comfortable experience, and not a challenging one.

There’s always Unsounded, for more gory, anime-inspired sagas that occasionally have you sitting in the mouth of a humanoid dinosaur.
Ah fuck, my brother asked me months ago to take a look at Unsounded, and I forgot. Thanks for the reminder!
It’s kind of hard to quantify but Unsounded may be the greatest webcomic running, and it’s at least in the top 5 of any I’ve seen, along with SSSS, KSBD, Vattu…

It’s such a shame the author of SSSS went off the deep end.
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Meti just casually attaining immortality being fueled entirely out of hatred is just perfect.
The one secret that Mottom’s hate…
Those who do not aspire to Royalty often obtain it through little effort.
meti is maya (mathangi)’s teacher
Mathangi ten Meti is Maya’s real name. ‘ten XXXX’ marks who she is the core disciple of. Meti is Maya’s teacher. Like she herself was Meti ten Ryo.
Mathangi ten Meti, Maya, Mantra. These are her Names.
Don’t forget Murder The Gods and Topple Their Thrones!
So Allison is going to be “Kill Six Billion Demons ten Murder the Gods and Topple Their Thrones”?
Yes I forgot though it is a last name to honor her teacher it’s also her teacher’s name. Bad habit of my people to refer to others by their last name.
A lady who says that God shall never forgive the hate she feels for that man, that man being the Lord of the Pit, is special.
Having that hatred fueling her life force… hey, now, you’re a Rockstar.
Hoooold on, do Maya and Incubus both have “Flame”? Does Incubus not have it? Does he no longer have it? *excited confusion*
Maya no longer has it. One might assume she discarded it out of disgust.
I think it’s been hinted at before that Incubus stole Maya’s key from her at some point.
We don’t know how many keys her husband had when he was ‘killed’. Jantris only has one I think and he already controls at least a hundred worlds.
Although I’m not sure if needing the key to the specific universe is needed to control or claim it.
Keys get amalgamated. Each world has a key which corresponds to it, but when you collect multiple keys they get merged, which is how we get the 7 keys in the current day of the story (well, now less since Jagganoth ate two of them).

I’d rather buy my own, fresh ones.
SWORD SAINT ALLISON TEN MAYA, WHEEL SMASHING LORD.
I wonder if one’s name can refer to multiple teachers? It should at least be Allison ten Maya ten White Chain.
But if we want to go all-out, she could be Allison ten Maya ten White Chain ten Incubus ten Ciocie ten Zoss.
Seems like, as with (for example) Welsh surnames- i.e. “David ap Rhys ap Howell”- that would imply Allison to be the student of Maya, and Maya to be the student of White Chain, though, given the apparent meaning/ in-comic usage of “ten”.
Maya is definitely a kinder teacher than Meti. That blade doesn’t even look rusty.
Time for… Allison ten Maya
Throwback to when Pale “Incubus” Bolt had a stolen throne that Jagganoth mocked… it really was Maya’s, huh
Jaggy is just a man hurting cause he can’t remember what his mother looks like anymore.
Jagganoth, The Lord of Rage, Wheel-turning King, Bearer of the Word “Blade”, Destroyer of the Seven-part world, and Inventor of Cancel Culture.
I don’t think he means “leave a nasty remark on twitter” when he says he’ll burn the world.
zhoosh the riah
Always did love the page when Incubus cut their hair, the symbology is tantalizing in it’s depth.
ah hell nah we gotta go bald

Not to mention Mammon bought his, somehow, even though you’d expect such a thing to be grabbed up within five minutes of being dropped during the universal war.
It was. According to Abbadon’s Tumbler, Jadis killed her father (and it’s hardly surprising, judging by what we saw of the man in previous book)/
A key is as much a weapon as a particularly sharp rock is.
“My paper soldiers form a wall, three paces thick and twice as tall”
I don’t think Cio misunderstood. I think she just has a unique perspective on what is and isn’t a weapon.
Won’t somebody please think of the children ?
