Part of the thinks that the Angles will have to face a rather glaring issue in their species soon. Their constant need to forgo their preferred gender even though it really isn’t that big of an issue for them, unless you happen to be called 2 Michael.
Also, First, unless someone finished typing before me.

So I just realized that while I don’t know who Aunt Maya served in the Second Conquering, based on the dialogue with the children she probably was responsible for pacifying their world. Think of it like this. In a wildly huge multiverse why would two children instantly recognize a seemingly incongruous woman? They must be extremely familiar with her, and given Maya’s background that really limits their familiarity to two things; either she buys noodles there a lot (which given that we’ve mainly seen her hanging out in Throne is not terribly likely), or she “conquered” their world although that could’ve been done in such a manner as to not generate the hatred and ire of the populous. Considering the willingness of this particular worlds populous to be subjugated, I’m guessing option two.
I don’t think they recognized her. They just come from a culture where you’re taught to respect your elders; I read their interactions with her as the way they’d treat any older woman who they found fallen down like that.
I doubt the children recognize Murder the Gods and Topple Their Thrones. ‘Auntie’ is simply a common form of address towards an older woman, much like ‘Ma’am’.
What makes you think the children recognize her? They refer to her only as ‘Auntie’ which is a pretty common way to refer to a woman you do not know in many parts of our world, much less others.
There definitely seemed to be familiarity within the dialogues of the children to Maya. Then of course the “pursuers” ask her who she is indicating that even more worldly wanderers don’t immediately recognize her. Just my thoughts and observations, although it could just be honorifics as the numerous responders seem to think.
I also noticed that chasing Allison across the Void and into this world has gotten Maya ten Meti back into shape. She is far more toned than when we first saw her in Hell 71. Apparently keeping up with Allison is a work-out and a half!

We have seen her flying on a bolt action, so I wouldn’t worry too much about our favorite gunny gal’s health bernardy. I’d be willing to bet that she flew away from the brawl to get a bead on that thorny looking motherfucker long afore she had to worry about angel-fire
It’s incredible how much I love every single character in this comic. I’m so happy to see Giant Baby still around and kicking! He’s a little banged up now but get ’em some Pedialyte and a nice lie-down and it’ll be back to fightin’ form in no time.
Hmm… Well, I think Juggernaut is giving grudging respect to Auntie Maya for slapping him/her down when Juggernaut was throwing a tantrum and tearing up the, um, “lesser beings”.
‘A course Juggernaut is tired. It takes a lot of energy to maintain a right proper furious aspect, even for an unyielding flaming wheel. Shoot, a moment of deep insight brought on by a face slap delivered by a mere human, and no wonder Juggernaut’s aspect waxed feminine.
I can’t tell you how i feel
My heart is like a wheel.
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you

Unless of course the fools choose to follow you.
INGSVLD yet lives?! huzzah! and who knew Juggernaut was so sensitive deep inside…

A great number of individuals have come before you, I am afraid.
NO. YOU WILL NEVER BE LIKE HER. YOUR OWN SOFTNESS LASHES YOU TO THE CIRCLE YOU SO DESPISE.
BREAK THE WHEEL, SISTERBROTHER. BUILD YOUR TOWER ANEW FROM ITS SHATTERED RIM. GLORY TO THE NEW FLESH! GLORY TO THE RISING KING!

It could be that Aunty is an honorific title children are taught to address elders with.
I actually did not assume the children knew her. They just call her “auntie” ( a general greeting). She calls herself auntie Maya.

You didn’t see anything! There was nothing to see! I am leaving for entirely unrelated reasons!
Truly, a most excellent liar.
Truly, truly outrageous.
Does Maya… recognize Juggy from the past? Are we going to see him in the rest of Maya’s backstory, before he became a Thorns?
That angel is a strange thing. I am sure we will yet encounter her on the road which lies ahead.
What an excellent collection of warriors and fools! To see them survive the battle warms…something within me.
Hmmm, I don’t see Layla among the survivors. Maybe she managed to fly away? (Please tell me she managed to fly away)
Legend says she absconded with a priceless tea set while the absconding was good: http://killsixbilliondemons.tumblr.com/post/149131891720/once-you-finish-with-it-could-you-do-a-list-of

I hear another ship leaving port.
Considering that the wheel doesn’t uave a conventional engine, does that mean the noise is essentially Juggernaut Star making noises with their mouth.
DO NOT MISTAKE THIS FOR MERCY, I’M JUST CHOOSING NOT TO KILL YOU COS I THINK YOU’RE KINDA COOL AND I WOULD FEEL BAD IF YOU DIED

A parade of fools? And I wasn’t invited! What insult! What mockery! What…Foolishness!
I APPROVE LOUDLY OF THIS!
I wonder if my ever so dear raven haired maiden survived the ordeal?
If not, this was a glorious way to perish.
looks like team Thorn Knight’s blasting off agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain!
Murder The Gods never lowered her weapon. A bluff was called.
way to flounce, juggernaut. love the lettering on this page!
Только что нашел Любимая теща как он там ее чпокнул !! !
