Words of wisdom. Everything belongs only to the one who has the strength and will to take it. The farmer has no true claim to his production, nor the merchant to his profit, nor the gambler to his winnings.
Yes, and the blood floats up instead of bleeding down. Notice her background is all white under neath. White, like her power or to use a term from Goblins, her IME (Individual Magical Effect) … done way cool here BTW!
It’s interesting. She’s expressing the power in a way we’ve never seen anyone do before. It could be the shape of her “crown”, like Solomon’s huge pair of square brackets, which I guess would suggest her emphasis on using the power to strengthen her own body. But I don’t think she has that much definition of the power yet. It seems more like she’s wielding it on a bigger scale than anyone we’ve seen; it’s usually only bleeding from their forehead at most but it’s spilling out of every hole in her body.
If she can combine that with even the least bit of the discipline of White Chain’s training as the narration suggests. . .I’d hate to be Solomon on the next page.
Solomon took down a demiurge through his entire army before he even got a key. I don’t think he’s too worried.
We HAVE seen that kind of bleed effect before, when Incubus used his power to heal Allison’s injuries, so it’s probably just a regeneration effect. Only this time, Allison’s doing it on her own. (I highly doubt it’s gonna be an instant-win-con power up since the key has never worked that way so far.)
The energy takes the form of the thing that caused the scar, so practitioners of this art seek out powerful opponents and powerful weapons to be injured with.
Of course, many novice students, unprepared to face the foe they sought out, quickly die or receive injuries they never recover from.
What do you mean be “destruction” here, exactly? Crushing the armour? Well, White Chain will be banished, ’tis all. Or full-scale-Zoss-style angel slaying? OK, we’ll have 83 White Chain some time later. That’s the hell of being an ungel, pardon the pun. They are the only true immortals over here. Save Jagganoth, probably.
One tends to think that they are trying their best, but that is hardly ever a truth. The true limitations of one’s ability are only revealed through either extreme external danger, or by “lying” to yourself that you are stronger than you think and believing, again and again, until you’re truly lying.
How can you know that, though? That you reached your final state?
That is exactly why the strongest persons think they’re even stronger than they are, usually boasting to be unbeatable.
Shlomo David might not be boasting, but he is a prime example to this principal.
Reach heaven through violence.
Reach violence through lies.
Trying your best means trying at all. If you make an honest effort, you’re doing the best you could do under the circumstances. If you fail? These things happen. We work with what we’ve got. Adversary merely provides an impetus to improve. Harder tasks demand greater adaptation.
By no means ever attempt to become powerful by believing really hard. It will *not* actually work out for you.
Do not pay attention to these want-to-be-phliosophers around these parts.
I’ve seen many folks here trying to sound as smart as possible while not providing any real wisdom. In this lie and truth mixture of a world, it is sometimes hard to tell, and they are riding on that fact to try and gain respect (or at least feel “esteemed”).
I doubt this Ozzve is even from the High Mantratic Dojo, in fact.
David is aware that he is not at his best. He recognizes that his stewardship of these worlds has held back his journey to personal enlightenment. He also doesn’t trust anyone else to do it, and so the Tower stays planted in the stagnant soil.

Solomon David glaring with a [Lovecraft geek mode on]three-lobed burning eye[/Lovecraft geek mode off] and Allison on the last panel look truly badass.
God mode enabled.
*smashes scouter in disbelief*
Her power level! IT’S OVER 777,777,777
I assume you meant 7777777, the real number of perfection
Shits getting real, imouttahere!
SHE HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT
Wisdom.
Wisdom is a blood-spattered path.
It is mostly your own blood.
“I’ve heard it said that we only gain wisdom through suffering, and tonight I intend to make you very wise.”
— Megatron
Of course it’s your blood. if it was their blood they would have tried harder to keep it.
Words of wisdom. Everything belongs only to the one who has the strength and will to take it. The farmer has no true claim to his production, nor the merchant to his profit, nor the gambler to his winnings.
Why should blood be any different?
Reach heaven by violence, then.
I like how she seems to be bleeding power here, both from new scratches and old scars.

True masters can ignite the atum in their blood after an opponent has been thoroughly drenched in it.
It requires losing a lot of blood first, but the surprise factor is unmatched.

…and that is how the new scar-based martial art was born, where energy lashes out at your enemy through your scars.
The energy takes the form of the thing that caused the scar, so practitioners of this art seek out powerful opponents and powerful weapons to be injured with.
Of course, many novice students, unprepared to face the foe they sought out, quickly die or receive injuries they never recover from.
Now I wonder if she’s going to destroy White Chain in the tournament

I understood that reference.
I understood that “I understood that reference” reference.
And the flying monkeys in panel one did, too.

Bunch of *royalists*, am I right?
David is aware that he is not at his best. He recognizes that his stewardship of these worlds has held back his journey to personal enlightenment. He also doesn’t trust anyone else to do it, and so the Tower stays planted in the stagnant soil.
The shibboleth “you can only do what you can do” is both a comfort and bane as it is an unachievable goal.

Hey.. who let a literal barrel of monkeys join this competition? Was it Gog a gog?I think it was but I’m not 100% sure.

Given that there are multiple broken spears, I’d go with the innumerable dopplegangers rather than super speed.
Unless he also has “summon unlimited weapons” technique. (A more advanced version of the “summon unlimited bullets” many gun users master)
That’s totally just Sun Wukong doing his Sun Wukong thing.
Looks like Allison is about to go ‘Super Sayan’ here.
