at some point it’d be funny if the new King-Of-All should drop by on her old sorority flat-mates, show them her Lady-BOSS new look. (they would probably flip their shit)
I wonder when this is all said and done, the gate for Earth will be open, among the others, it is her home-world after all.
Both Mottom and Solomon David seem to be more focused on Jagganoth. Jadis looks quite happy to be out of her chrystal, but we can’t see the expression on her shadow-self, if it has one. Gog-Agog looks uncharastically annoyed and disappointed. And Incubus is smiling! But how did he end up with scars like that?
And yes, where’s the family? And why’s Allison looking so… cruel? LAst tiem she looked like that was after her psycho-self got in control.
Huh. I tried to go back to the earlier pages and find the “Who?” back during the Concordance of Demiurges they held over Zaid, but they don’t appear to be in that panel anymore. The wiki still has ’em though.
Seeing how similar they looked to this Allison, I was kinda hoping something was up. Maybe it’s just a plot thread that got dropped.
So I’m going to point out that the Alison on the cover is very likely to not be the same Allison we have been following. Notably this one looks exactly like the one we saw in the bonus picture of the panel where the demiurges learn the name of the new king(the title of the comic)
We also know that zoss has been working behind the scenes keeping the universe stuck in some sort of groundhog day loop. With the ultimate goal of keeping Alison from falling “to the dark side” for lack of a better term. Something he implies has happens during every attempted “loop” so far.
The whole time loop (?) idea Zoss mentioned makes me think this chapter is going to feature an AU/Dream where Zaid really is the chosen one. Maybe we’ll get to see the previous iterations of the story?
What I meant was that maybe in the previous cycles Zaid was KSBD but failed at stopping Jagganoth (or whoever the true villain may be). So this time Alison was chosen in order to break the cycle. Hence why Jadis thought it was Zaid: it technically WAS him in another cycle of reality.
I’m still wondering what role Zaid plays in the story, I feel like he is important somehow. A lot of people pointed out that Zaid and Zoss both start with the same letter and they both seem Middle-Eastern/South Asian implying a connection. I’ve seen people suggest Zaid is his son, or his reincarnation. My dumbass theory was always that Zoss was somehow a fusion of Zaid and the smith-god Koss just because their names sound similar.
I’d find it vastly more interesting if zaid was just a normal teen who was in the wrong bedroom at the wrong time. Having him be an utter red-herring for everybody in the comic seems likely.

Preem Goo observant. Gog is worms, worms is animal, animal is beast. It is beast, is holder of word Beast, and is a beast, birthed from bubbly Flame heat, by Beast-Headed God.
Praise Yis Voya, keeper of the words. (link to ksbd tumblr mod’d).
Alison loses the eye by replicating the efforts of Aesma and Jadis: divining the ultimate and fundamental nature of the Wheel and embracing the true name of God. Think Sideways, my friends.
But she’s smart enough to keep one eye closed, because she has no reason to assume “boiled the eyes from Aesma’s skull” wasn’t totally literal
isn’t it odd that the only Demiurge who looks really unhappy in this picture is Gog-Agog? Wasn’t Allison supposed to kil them all? I guess she’s never been one for doing what she’s supposed to do though…
The symbolism of the size proportions of the 8 figures on the cover is really telling. The only figure taller than Allison is Jagganoth, faced by solomon, mottom, and mammon; they’re shrunken down as they’re already hurdles that Allison has overcome. Behind her lurk Jadis, Incubus, and Gog, lesser threats than Big J, but still looming. I think this cover might say a lot about the general direction of the last book. We’re getting more stuff with the 3 demiurges in the foreground. N I C E

1000% hyped about the final book and that badass-looking Allison. Buuut… Where’s Cio? Where’s White Chain? Where’s the family???
I’m guessing on the other side of the cover. This side seem to be reserved for Demiurges.
Both Mottom and Solomon David seem to be more focused on Jagganoth. Jadis looks quite happy to be out of her chrystal, but we can’t see the expression on her shadow-self, if it has one. Allison looks like Uncle Ruckus, no relation.
Nev cover, new looks, new beginnings, new endings.
Truly, there is no Genesis.
Jeeze this is what I want a big poster of!

The pic was hidden in a link underneath the picture and above the next page buttons, it’s still there.
I wonder if Jadis is worse a threat than the red god– perhaps the cube was just a deceit. Anyone who looked at the shape of the universe…
Note the new scar across Alison’s neck by the way — maybe she gets beheaded like Zoss, but puts her own head back on.
It’s probably been said, but I cant help but notice that Alice-UN looks a lot like Zoss in this cover.
Not sure that’s a good thing…

It is known that Jadis, indeed, knows more of the Wheel than anyone else at all, ever.
It doesn’t mean she is fully omniscient, and there is the possibility that the retainer was mistaken on his readings.
I am firmly in the camp that Allison is indeed the Rising King, chosen by Zoss.
There is value in what you say.
I believe Zoss tried, and failed, to overturn his attempts at bettering the Wheel.
I suspect he used his dark arts to break infinities and, this time, attempt to overrule the fate that Jadis can see, for a hope of doing better.
Zoss mentions that when Alison leave cio for dead during her incubus enabled bout of inflated ego, that “he hopped this cycle would be different”
I’m fairly certain that Alison has always been the one to have the key of kings. Perhaps it isn’t even zosses choice who he hands the kings key to.
I’m still wondering what role Zaid plays in the story, I feel like he is important somehow. Gods I’m gay for Alison.
Like this isn’t the first time, but that short hair is just *bites finger*
Oh, I get it now. Kill Gog-a-gog. That’s the six billion, right there.
Gogalot is not a Demon, nor is she a Human or an Angel or a Helper. She is… something else. We may even find out what.

Hrmm… Reckon it’s time to get started!
Allison and Incubus seem to have traded haircuts.
And also…
JADIS!
She destroyed her cage
Yes
YES
The Jadis is OUT
GOOD post
Holy shit, Alison looks so fucking cool. I am 100% about this look.
Also, that confidence! The gaze!
Right?! Like… OMFG. O_O
She looks kinda evil tho, and the way the halo is flairing up looks distinctly diffrent from how it’s looked before.
She gotta keep an eye out for Selener…
Ok, calling it now:

That coat is extremely familiar to me and I cannot place it. Did Mottom’s palace guards not wear similar?
Clicked the first page and latest page button a couple of times because I’m enamored with our young heroines growth!
Sulkworm.
is that ZOSS’ Arm????
oh booooooi

Her power is inversely correlated to the length of her hair.
